Donald Trump is contemplating naming a number of recognizable players from the 2016 campaign to serve in senior White House roles, according to an internal transition document obtained exclusively by The Daily Caller.

The list was provided by a member of the transition team on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to speak to the press. Described as a “working” document, it is being used to help the president-elect envision a White House staff structure, the source said. Some people are listed more than once.

It includes names like Trump campaign chairman Stephen K. Bannon, RNC chairman Reince Priebus, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski and retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn.

I’m worried seeing Mike Rogers on the list, and that he’s helping Trumps transition team.

I agree. Hate to see an “anonymous” source springing leaks so early in the process. We know the Dems are going to be planting their own people among President Trump’s team. I hope his isn’t one of them.

Not to worry, Rudy was on BOR the other night when some of these same names were discussed. As Rudy said, it’s common for the staff to make “nominations” for each slot for the President to consider and then make his final choice.

I sure want to see Sarah Palin on the list. Even if she is not chosen, just to drive the libs nuts!

I hope they are careful and realize that they will be recorded while working with obamas people, they probably have bugs everywhere so they can leak stuff to the press

Mike Rogers was behind the bullshit Benghazi report that whitewashed Hillary Clinton. It spit on the vets.

He’s part of the swamp.

Unreal to imagine that after 8 years of Democrat control, the Republicans will take control of the White House, the House, the Senate, the DOJ and Border Patrol/ICE, and the ability to DOWNSIZE the DHS, IRS, EPA, etc., and have majority opinion on the Supreme Court for generations to come.

Also, nearly 34 of the 50 governorships in America will be Republican-run as well as 2/3 of the nation's state legislatures!

Trump STOMPED the Democrats! Trump's accomplishment cannot be overstated as he overcame the media and the major networks, Hollywood and music industry, educational establishment, George Soros $$$$, hostile foreign donor money, and every wing of the Demonrat party and RINO establishment.

Amazing and unreal and against all odds. Divine intervention at work, folks.

I think he should discuss his cabinet with the Dems, just as a conciliatory gesture.

It’s important the Administration be staffed with essentially people the public has never heard of. This should not be all that much a GOP administration. Trump is largely an independent who managed to get the GOP nomination.

This is part of draining the swamp. No cushy gov’t jobs for GOP operatives and of course none for Dem operatives either.

And btw, infrastructure spending? Since when was expanding the deficit conservative. Want to spend on infrastructure? Sounds good. Cut something else.

Budget neutral.
