As the reality of President-elect Donald Trump settled in very early Wednesday morning, MSNBCs Chris Hayes summed up an explanation common to many on the left: The Republican nominee pulled ahead thanks to old-fashioned American racism.
But the attempt to make Trumps victory about racism appears to be at odds with what actually happened on Election Day. Consider the following facts.
Twenty-nine percent of Latinos voted for Trump, per exit polls. Remarkably, despite the near-ubiquitous narrative that Trump would have deep problems with this demographic given his comments and position on immigration, this was a higher percentage of those who voted for GOP nominee Mitt Romney in 2012. Meanwhile, African Americans did not turn out to vote against Trump. In fact, Trump received a higher percentage of African American votes than Romney did.

I have an MS in engineering and voted for Trump. It had nothing to do with Trump, so nothing that they tried to pin on him worked. Trump was merely the pitchfork that I used to burn down the castle.
Not many see the future you have outlined, but it is coming as sure as the sun rises. How do we plan to keep an unnecessary labor force fed and housed? I have ideas of what is likely to happen it be pretty but will likely be much easier, for the elites to accomplish.
If people would actually read it, it is pretty good. But it’s better just to talk about what the headline might mean. (sarc).
And guess what....a best bud is an architect....and he still sits at his board with pencil and paper. Could he draw via computer...of course...it's about the product...
Computers don't DO things by themselves....someone has to tell them what to do.
Learned a long time ago.....you still dig a hole with a shovel.

“try stocking the shelves in a store with a computer.”
Have U heard of a company called AMAZON ?
‘Try driving the kids to school with a computer.’
Self driving cars?
ETC ETC ETC
Not meant to argue, just looking ahead ...I do have grandkids and as smart as they may, I still worry..
The second oldest is working on a degree which will lead to designing planes of the future. I remember going to Langley in 1988...and seeing my first stealth....and notes on its future.
Millions of self driving cars?? They're called buses and trains.
Bingo.
The ones paying the bills are the ones paying attention for the most part.
I'd like to see a study on what the vote would total would be if you filtered out everyone on welfare, Medicaid, get public housing, and food stamps.
From a few years ago, I'm sure the numbers have grown....
82,679,000 of the welfare-takers lived in households where people were on Medicaid, said the Census Bureau. 51,471,000 were in households on food stamps. 22,526,000 were in the Women, Infants and Children program. 20,355,000 were in household on Supplemental Security Income. 13,267,000 lived in public housing or got housing subsidies. 5,442,000 got Temporary Assistance to Needy Families. 4,517,000 received other forms of federal cash assistance.
If a 1/4 of the welfare takers back then voted for Shrill (more now). Trump's total 59,535,522 Shrill's total 44,816,463
Interesting. (Assuming these numbers don't reflect the illegal alien vote. BIG assumption)
You crazy Mr.Ford? ,,,,Millions of cars??
