In wager-loving Britain, bets on whether Donald Trump will be the next U.S. president have surpassed any other political gamble ever.
A Republican victory in Tuesday’s U.S. election will leave bookies nursing a large loss in an event that they say has attracted an estimated ￡150 million worth of bets. This would add to a large string of losses due to bad political forecasts.

I read that some Irish bookie paid out 1.4 million early to clinton bettors. like a week ago cause he was sure she was gonna lose.

Bookmakers balance win/lose sides and take 10% vig (vigorish) from the loser. They do not take sides, they do not lose money, they do not pay off early. Do not believe everything you read.
