A Resident Advisor at The George Washington University (GWU) has some choice words for the more than 1,000 residents of Thurston Hall, the largest freshman dormitory on campus.
A bulletin board on the first floor of the dorm was decorated with the theme Check Your Privilege." A statement included on the bottom of the board states Becoming aware of privilege should not be viewed as a burden or source of guilt, but rather an opportunity to learn and be responsible so that we may work toward a more just and inclusive world.

It certainly is...with all possible connotations of that phrase.
Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose
Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you
Students should quietly organize support groups to help those in doubt to reject this idiocy. Counter-attack! Use this as a wakeup call; never a reason to doubt the right to the fruits of your families upward struggle.
“Becoming aware of privilege should not be viewed as a burden or source of guilt...”
BS.. or they would ask women to “check your female privilege” and blacks to “check your black privilege”. Since they only target the groups that leftists hate (Christians, whites, and males), we know exactly what their intent is.
Stop giving them government dollars. Stop recognizing the diplomas from these institutions. That will drive students away and they will collapse.
Exactly!
The Long March Through The Institutions has destroyed historical truth in America.
There would be no universities without Christianity.
It is Western Civilization and Biblical Christianity that stand in the way of global communism, and that is why they are under assault from all sides.
White Privilege = Political Correctness = Class Warfare = Cultural Marxism.
The Left, which pretends to despise stereotypes, exploits them ruthlessly: According to them, any white person is born racist and has privilege, even if that individual is born into poverty and raised by non-whites.
I thought privilege meant I just worked harder than the other guy. Hell what do I know though...;)

Bite me, numbskull!
I’d tell them FU ...
I checked it. I like it. I’ll keep on using it. Thanks for asking. :)
You produced! You worked harder. You showed up on time all the time. You didn't lip off every time you were asked to do something. You contributed ideas to make the business more efficient and profitable.
Some folks can't take this into consideration. They look at your skin and have all they need to know.
...or not!
I would want to live two flights up in that dorm. That way, when someone asked me where my room was, I could answer, “Thurston Hall, the third... floor.”

Oh to be young again :D
My response would be — well, it’s a toss-up between
“I checked my privilege...and it is AWESOME!!!”
and
“I checked my privilege, and it’s a quart low. Mommy and Daddy are sending me more.”
