Janet Reno, the first woman to serve as U.S. attorney general and the epicenter of several political storms during the Clinton administration, has died. She was 78.
Reno's goddaughter, Gabrielle D'Alemberte, says Reno died early Monday from complications of Parkinson's disease.
Reno was one of the Clinton administration's most recognizable and polarizing figures. She faced criticism early in her tenure for the deadly raid on the Branch Davidian

During her life, she was a liar ("I take FULL responsibility"), an alcoholic, and most likely a lesbian who liked young girls.
Without repentence and seeking Christ, she is in Hell. And I don't wish that on anyone.
Now she can explain to all the children she killed in Waco why she did it!

I was a freshman in college there in Waco when the Branch Davidian thing happened. It was surreal seeing Mt. Carmel on the news so much. At first, you could still drive out there and try to get a glimpse at what was going on with the raid. Roads were soon blocked off, though, and you had to watch it on TV like everyone else. Even when you went back to your dorm and tried to watch Days of Our Lives between classes the raid coverage was on the local news. Soap opera-watching college kids got pretty tired of the raid pretty quickly! Of course, we had no idea what what coming....
I hope that Janet Reno righted herself with the Lord while she had the opportunity.
