Impeachment Already on The Table If Hillary is Elected
Townhall.com ^ | November 3, 2016 | Katie Pavlich

As a number of FBI investigations into Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton's private email server and the Clinton Foundation continue, with indictments likely looming due to overwhelming evidence, the Republican controlled House is already putting impeachment on the table should Clinton win the White House next Tuesday.

Yesterday during an interview on Fox News, Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul explained the process.

"If the investigation goes forward and it looks like an indictment is pending, at that point in time under the Constitution, the House of Representatives would engage in an impeachment trial. It would go to the Senate and impeachment proceedings and removal would take place," McCaul told Fox News' Bill Hemmer. "I would hate to see this country thrown into a constitutional crisis because of Hillary Clinton's behavior."

This again brings up the prospect of whether President Obama will pardon Clinton before she takes her oath of office.

Meanwhile, the Oversight Committee is already bracing for years of investigations should Clinton move into the Oval Office.

“the Republican controlled House is already putting impeachment on the table should Clinton win the White House next Tuesday.”

Exactly right. There is no way any Democrats will vote to remove Hillary.

Last night on Hannity when they were talking about the 99% chance that foreign intelligence agencies breached Clinton’s server, someone (I think it was Newt) brought up that Richard Nixon won his landslide election with 49 states. He continued with look what happened to him and that she won’t get that many states.

I think if we needed to we can impeach Hillary but it would take some maneuvering. not all the Dems are bad I believe most are actually scared of the Clintons and there supporters. the way the Clintons took over the party was by destroying the people that got in there way you definitely would have to peel of quite a few Dems and that means back room deals the few Dems that want the Clintons out.

Not a Constitutional crisis. The Constitution is VERY clear on how this would proceed. It would be a crisis of character.

In order for Obama to pardon her, wouldn’t she need to be convicted first? As far as I know she hasn’t even been charged with anything yet.

No, the President's power to pardon is unlimited.

As you may remember, Nixon was pardoned by Ford, and he was never even impeached (i.e. indicted).

She could be impeached by the House. The Senate would vote on her conviction/removal. That is what happened to BJ Clinton.

“Big deal. BJ was impeached. What happened to him? NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.”

Try it this way; he is only the second president ever to be impeached in our history. That is a dead albatross he will wear throughout history. Future generations will read of his moral degeneracy.

Let’s try again by asking the Supreme Court:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/text/71/333#writing-USSC_CR_0071_0333_ZO

... It [pardon] extends to every [federal] offence known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken or during their pendency or after conviction and judgment. This power of the President is not subject to legislative control...

True, but I believe that once you are impeached, you cannot hold government office again. I.E. Obama could have appointed him secretary of state or this or that ambassador, or whatever but was legally prevented from doing so.

The democrats love setting records of being “the first” this or that.

Bill Clinton - the “first black president”.

Madeleine Half-bright - the first female Secretary of State.

Condoleezza Rice - the first African American Secretary of State.

Barack Obama - the first black president without white skin to hold 7 different social security numbers.

Hillary Clinton - the first female senator from New York.

Hillary Clinton - the first female presidential candidate (of a major party).

Could we now be on the way to the breaking of another “Glass Ceiling” by Hillary?

Bill and Hillary could become not only the first (and only) husband and wife to be elected president.

They could also become the first husband and wife presidents to be impeached.

Where has the impeachment table been since 2008 when we needed it for Traitorobama?

Did the RINOcrats hid it?
