More than 26 million voters have already cast early ballots a week ahead of Election Day 2016, nearly double the amount of early vote at this point in the 2012 election, according to new analysis by the NBC News Data Analytics Lab.
On October 30, 2012, one week ahead of the Obama vs. Romney match-up, roughly 13.5 million voters had cast early ballots nationwide. Ahead of Election Day, early votes are generally cast via early in-person voting, no excuse in-person absentee voting or mail-in absentee voting.

Sit down, buckle up, shut up, hold on!
I don’t like it.
At least one of the major parties seems ... motivated.
I know what you mean.
I voted early Saturday here in North Georgia. (you know one of the states the libtards say is in play) Anyway I had to wait over an hour to vote and I bet there wasn’t a Hitlery vote in the building!
Good for Rick.
People are not waiting in line to vote for Hillary.
I expect a Trump landslide so big even all the fraud will not help the demoncraps.
hopefully 70% of them are Trump Supporters who are racing to the polls/mail-ins to insure its a Landslide
Dang.....you have a spot on point! You win this thread!
Agreed. The multitudes voting early, who normally do not, are not fired up to vote for Hillary. It’s going to be a tsunami for DT and Hillary and the Dems are going to be staggeringly butt-hurt.
When looking at the partisan breakdown of early voters in 2012 compared to 2016, Democratic-affiliated voters are outpacing their early 2012 performance in several battleground states.
It all comes down to how many of these "democratic-affiliated voters" are voting for Hillary, and / or a large number of them voting for Trump.
BTW, what do they mean by "democratic-affiliated voter"? How would they know? Is there a red versus blue ballot? Are people stating they're democrats or republicans as part of the process, or is the media just guessing?
A legitimate concern because Democrats tend to own early voting. Republicans still hold on to this outdated notion that "good Americans" wait until Election Day, don their bow tie and straw boater hat, and then go wait in line for three hours.
However, this year is different.
Last Tuesday, I went an early voted in Florida for the first time ever. Trump/Pence, naturally. I couldn't wait until Election Day. This is the most important vote I've ever cast and I just couldn't risk something happening between now and then that prevented me from voting next Tuesday. I had to get it out of the way.
Hopefully, there are millions more like me.
I think they are just guessing and hoping it is true. A FR mentioned this to me.....nobody is standing in line to vote for Hillary.......valid point.
Also from what I have read around these interwebs....those standing in line to vote early haven’t been hillary voters.
Remember in 08 how the media had their people standing next to all the early voting lines........they had helicopters over the lines too.
Media would be posting those pics.
they were long....all obama son types. where is that now?
Last time around I voted on Election Day, this time went early here in Texas. I just didn’t feel like spending all day in line. Once polls opened, took about 10-15 minutes. Pretty smooth and they do check ID here.
Pollsters don't have a freakin' clue what they're talking about this time around. All they can agree on is at this point there aren't any remaining undecided voters. It's all about turnout.
So they're trying to measure likely voters. They're using 2012's turnout as their baseline metric but they know that this is probably wrong because it fails to count the possibility that there's millions of voters who stayed home in 2012 who will likely be out there voting for Trump. Prior to now, these people didn't vote so they didn't get reflected in polling data.
They don't know what the hell's going on. That's why the polling is so off the wall. They might as well be using a Magic-8 Ball.
Same exact story here in Jacksonville. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I hope other conservatives discover early voting. It's time we need to. Who knows what shenanigans might be taking place on Election Day to keep us out of our polling places.
I’m pretty sure this high voter turnout is bad news for Hillary.
Tim Kaine was in Wisconsin (of all places) today and there was a very small crowd. He was in Florida yesterday and maybe 250 people showed up. Biden was in North Carolina today and the crowd was very underwhelming. The biggest crowd Hillary has had lately was with JLo in Miami.
