Last Sunday, Hillary Clinton was enjoying a 12 point advantage over Donald Trump in the ABC New/Washington Post tracking poll, but seven days later, that lead has shrunk to just one point.
Additionally, about one-third of likely voters told pollsters they're now less likely to support the former secretary of state because of James Comey's announcement that the FBI was again looking into the Democrat's emails.
Even before this news, the battleground state of Florida was looking very much in play, with a new New York Times - Siena College poll showing Trump four points ahead and the Real Clear Politics polling average stating that Clinton and Trump are tied in the Sunshine State.

I don't believe that Trump could swing a legitimate national poll 11 points in a single week before the FBI bombshell. But the keyword is "legitimate"--which the WaPo/ABC is obviously not. If I could not trust the poll before, why should I trust it now?
I am feeling better and better about The Donald's chances. And if indeed he should win, my mocking of and gloating at those who said he could not do it will be EPIC.
Trump may be gaining steam, but Hillary is losing it out her ears right about now.
Hillary’s health could REALLY SUFFER....stress doesn’t help someone who is already sick. Too bad, so sad...
How can she still be ahead? People are saying this is a Trump landslide.
I refuse to believe that Hillary did not see this coming . . . I think that accounts for her health issues. She was booed at the 9/11 event and she collapsed under the intense pressure of knowing that her past was catching up to her - AND THAT SHE WOULD NOT SURVIVE THE SCRUTINY, the microscope of her life being under the glass for all to see.
I have to believe that she knew she would not win, but if by the slim chance she did - unless she also pulled a democrat majority in both houses (another miracle) she would face the next four years under the same investigatory cloud that her husband endured his second term.
I also do not believe that she is long for this world - she is about to POP! every blood vessel in her head.
I see Hillary and all I can see is Gollum at the point of his death, sinking in the lava clutching his ring . . . his precious!
She has gotten away with so much for so long.
This day was a long time coming.
I just want her out of politics, and any position of authority.
Just end her evil influence on this nation.

To have such a lead, she literally would have been doing better than Reagan did on election night 1980, and nearly better by over half than Obama did on election night 2008.. it was ludicrous on its face...
You want us to believe a candidate who can’t fill up a flipping bingo hall is about to win a national election by a margin that has only been beat in the last 50 years by Nixon’s Re-election against McGovern and Reagan’s Re-election against Mondale. The last time a DEMOCRAT managed to beat 12 points in a win for the white house was LBJ’s election following JFK’s assassination... Other than that election, which was obviously dominated by the death of JFK.. you can’t find a Democrat win by 12 points or more until you go back to FDR’s first re-election in the 1936! his re-elections in 1940 and 1944 didn’t even beat this!
Its ludicrous on its face to have ever put out a poll claiming Hillary had a 12 point lead.
I’ll bet they are VERY sorry they ever made the bogus claim she was 12points ahead. It magnifies her Icarus-like fall and nobody wants to be the last rat fleeing the sinking ship (to mix a couple of metaphors).

Hillary is hanging in high school gyms, tiny bars, and black churches. Without a rock star or rapper entertainer, she can’t pull in a crowd. She has no appeal- Hillary has a shrill and abrasive voice that is not inspiring.

I agree. The "strategy" by the pollsters was, I believe, to suppress Republican enthusiasm and turnout well before the election. But since their credibility is at stake, the pollsters must reflect reality as the election nears.
But this dishonest practice must always backfire. Now, just days before the election, their own polls perversely (to them) suggest a steamroller of momentum for Trump.
In other words, their own dishonest methodology does them in.
And it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of jackasses.
