Barack Obama said he wanted to transform America and in many ways he has succeeded.
The problem is that his transformation has done enormous and perhaps irreparable damage to the nation by demolishing the people’s confidence that our laws will be impartially enforced. Instead of, as the Constitution requires of the president, taking care that the laws be faithfully executed, Obama and his minions have operated under a completely different concept – that the laws will be enforced (or not) with the objective of maintaining the incumbent party in power.
If you doubt that, I recommend reading Liberty’s Nemesis, published earlier this year by Encounter Books.
Editors Dean Reuter and John Yoo have collected there twenty-six excellent essays to make the big point that the Constitution’s carefully wrought system of divided power and checks and balances meant to protect against the dangerous concentration of governmental power has been so weakened that it now barely functions.
We face, as the book’s subtitle puts it, the unchecked expansion of the state. That unchecked power did not begin with Obama, but his administration has pushed us far into uncharted waters of uncontrolled executive power. As a result, the people’s liberty has taken a beating and the old concept of the rule of law has become a bad joke.
Readers will probably be at least somewhat familiar with most of the topics covered, including the legerdemain of Obamacare, the administration’s efforts to prevent people from acquiring guns and ammunition, the unprecedented aggression of the National Labor Relations Board in pushing unionism, Operation Choke Point’s illegal strangling of lawful businesses through abusive banking regulation, interference in state voting laws where it helps Democrats, the IRS’s targeting of groups that oppose Obama’s agenda, the funneling of settlement money into left-wing activist organizations, and much more.

2008 candidate Obama’s calm cool voice of reason was supposed to prevail. Remember when Obama calmly assured America that once he was elected all Mideast “hostilities” would cease. A confident Obama would make sure America was once again “respected” around the world. And who could forget Obama’s “Arab Spring” when all of the terrorists would suddenly become sap-happy humanitarians, weaving daisy chains while frolicking around the May pole?
2012 Ohaha used the same conniving 2008 strategy patented by PR honcho Anita (Mao) Dunn---to manipulate voters, to downplay Ohaha's bgrnd, his destructive policies ....and his scary plans for his next term.
Remember, Dunn said back then, that THEY and only THEY decided what the media and the voters should know about 2008 candidate Ohaha. The strategy was to have Ohaha and his shady handlers play the innocents---the "don't worry--we're harmless" act.

Women who've suffered spousal abuse said they could barely watch the debate-—b/c they were unnerved by Biden’s antics. They say Biden eerily reminded them of abusive husbands. All the tactics abusive men use to brutalize and demean, to make women feel inadequate and unimportant were the tactics Biden used to beat down Ryan::

(2) interrupting when they dared speak up,
(3) laughing and mugging when they tried to air their grievances,
(4) demeaning and marginalizing them for daring to disagree,
(5) asserting superority to keep them subjugated,
(6) showing contempt when they tried to defend themselves,
(7) being condescending to them and disdainful of their views.

If Trump had been running in 2008, he may not have won, but guranteed the “Reverend” Wright story would never have gone a away and he would have called him Hussein at every rally. There is only one thing I struggle with and that is trying to understand how so many people who are able to walk and chew gum at the same time were SILLY enough to expect good things from electing a totally unqualified in all respects candidate who cannot possibly be a natural born citizen and who made it plain that he intended to destroy this country. What did they think “fundamental transformation” meant? When someone tells you that this is the greatest country that has ever existed and then asks you to help him change it you have to be very stupid not to ask the obvious question.
