(CNN) Hillary Clinton's campaign is waging a full-out war on FBI Director James Comey in the final 10 days of the election.
A day after Comey made the stunning announcement that the FBI is examining newly unveiled emails that appear to be "pertinent" to the now-closed investigation into Clinton's private server, top campaign officials unleashed a blistering attack on the FBI director, accusing him of being irresponsibly "light on facts" and "heavy on innuendo."
On a conference call with reporters Saturday, Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta accused Comey of failing to be "forthcoming with the facts." Podesta blasted both the timing and contents of the letter Comey sent to congressional leaders on Friday, summing the director's actions as "providing selective information."

Podesta better be careful what he asks for. He may get the "facts" that will send his boss to prison.
Fox panel said the Clinton campaign presented possible responses to a focus group last night and the worst option was to stonewall.
“My husband Bill used to call him “Stretch Homely”, instead of Jim Comey. Not that he was making fun of how somebody looked, mind you!”
It’s tough for the media.

The media trumpeted Hillary’s charge that the R’s complaints in July about Comey were political sour grapes.
Now the media has to pretend the Dems aren’t doing the same thing.
They’ll try, they all want to do their best for Hillary, but it’s silly.
why call? Just email them their stories.
This doesn’t change the fact that Comey is in the tank for the ‘Toons. The email server which was set up to obstruct justice by itself was enough to put Hill in the fed pen for over a decade.
Here is my theory.
Comey has millions in ill gotten gains from Billary.
So he put people he has the goods on to investigate Billary.
Meanwhile the NYPD Special Crimes Unit has an investigation going on on Wiener.
So there is all this evidence that Comey can’t destroy as it is outside his control.
Oh, crap! He has to go public with it.
It is obvious that this is NOT due to serious evidence, or threats to national security because by just setting up the server to obstruct justice that bar was already met.
It has been widely reported the lengths to which Comey was going to destroy all Clinton evidence.
Of course we have been hearing about the mutiny in the FBI, so that put more pressue on Comey as well. This is likely worse that we’ve heard. The problem is that Comey cannot fire anyone, as they will go to the press.
Gosh. It must suck to have to campaign against government employees instead of your opponent who’s actually on a ballot.
The ultimate irony is Hillary saying anyone is not being forthcoming with facts

They loved him when he refused to recommend prosecution.
Let them continue to ramble. When Wikileaks (I’m assuming) releases “the big one” this week, the media will not be able to keep their mouths shut about it and they’ll look like fools.
I hope people understand why they trickle release things ... Of course, that assumes Wikileaks has the emails that’ll sink her :-).
