(CNN) — Donald Trump's oft-repeated claim that the FBI's investigation of "Crooked Hillary" and the presidential election itself were and are "rigged," seems to have thrown FBI Director James Comey into a state of panic. In foolishly making a public announcement that the bureau is reviewing newly discovered emails related to Hillary Clinton's personal server, he has inserted himself yet again into the presidential campaign.
The FBI virtually never announces the commencement or termination of ongoing criminal investigations or the discovery of new evidence. Such inquiries are often conducted in relative secrecy, enabling a more efficient investigation.

Yeah, I'm sure the DNC wanted Comey to create this massive headache for Hillary Clinton about ten days before Election Day. That's why the Left is in such panic right now.

By now, it should be clear that SOMEBODY has those emails, and they're not about yoga.
Comey could re-open the investigation, or he could wait flat-footed until the emails are released and he looks like a complete fool.
His hand was forced, because I guarantee he didn't want to do this.

When this new evidence was discovered and the investigation re-opened, it would be impacting the campaign unfairly by not informing the public of it.
It would be hiding critical information from voters to not inform our representatives and thus us, the public.
Yes. Let someone else conduct this ‘new investigation’ of Hillary. I have zero faith in Comey rendering any judgement that would greatly inconvenience one of his Clinton Foundation Masters. Let a worth up and coming Gov. employee make his or her mark with this trial. It would have to be someone fairly confident, and unafraid of getting the Arkancide Treatment.
