WASHINGTON Oct. 28 (UPI) -- The UPI/CVoter daily presidential tracking poll for Friday shows Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump by less than 2 percentage points.
The online poll shows Clinton with 48.84 percent to Trump's 46.95 percent.
The most recent data reflect a shift of almost a full percentage point toward Trump compared to data collected a day earlier. As Trump moves further away from the scandal over a video tape speaking crudely about women, the poll has shown the race tightening. Over the past week, Clinton has lost 1.43 points, while Trump has gained 1.38 points, with "others" -- respondents who declined to pick either candidate -- remaining roughly the same.
The UPI/CVoter online tracking poll surveys at least 200 people each day, leading to a sample size of more than 1,400 people during any seven-day span.

The closer to the election we get, the media lies a bit less about the poll numbers. That’s what’s happening.
Always knew it. The polls always show a huge advantage for the Democrat months and weeks before the election so as to depress Republicans who are thinking of registering. Then, just like clockwork, as the time gets closer to the elections, the pollsters who do care about their reputation for accuracy at the end of the day, suddenly start showing the real poll numbers. And that process always shows the Republicans doing better than they had reportedly been doing.
Hillary is goin’ down.

I see no signs for her on any lawns - I see a TON of Trump signs
I see 300 people attending her rallies, when there are 15,000 at Trumps.
I go to social web sites and even Pro-HilLIARy sites quickly get overrun with Trump supporters. Trump sites get a couple of anti-Trump people but they are quickly drowned ot.
The ONLY place they are trying to tell us she is ahead is in the national media. And they do not have the power they used to. Their bias is just to obvious to the point of being ridiculous.
Team Hitlery has what it thinks is a “kill shot” on DJT ready to fire. I don’t know what it is, but you can bet the networks and her friends are ready to report it once she gives the signal.
Online polls are completely worthless. They are self selected and there is no way to ensure demographic balance.
Polls try to represent likely turnout. They can get it wrong, but that’s the aim. You get nothing at all like that with an online poll.
The question will be timing.
Trump has a plan, too: my guess is his plan is two-fold:
1. A hit on the unqualified Hitlery.
2. A reason why he is the better alternative.
There’s an ashtray with Kaine’s name on it.
Basically a tie!
Hillary is supposed to be up 50 points, dammit.
I still say a Morgan Freeman impersonator ad to counteract Hitlery’s lame attempt at using that guy as a spokesclown would be great.

The “P” word tape was prematurely fired as they had to have a quick response to drown out the Wikileaks releases that Friday. They probably have more, but the exposure of NBC sitting on the tape for months has now made the populace a lot more wary of these last minute disclosures, and the effect will be much less, in combination with Trump voters voting early.
You no doubt are right regarding that tape.
I do think, however, there is potential for another—perhaps a giant LIE—that Hitlery is willing to deploy.
Look at the scapegoats other fascists have blamed for troubles. HRC is certainly willing to do that, too. Her lust for power is not to be underestimated.
They’ve shot their wad. Dirty tricks won’t work any longer, not after the O’Keefe videos and Wikileaks. They are dead in the water, their play was inevitability and now that’s gone.
This is what victory looks like. She doesn’t have the stamina, charisma, issues or health for a comeback. They’re done.
