Huffington Post is the site that embarrassed itself by refusing for months to take the Trump candidacy seriously, relegating Trump coverage to its Entertainment section while explaining to readers that the Trump campaign was simply a "sideshow."
So it's notable that it was HuffPo's Sam Stein, of all people, who testified to the decency of Trump supporters on today's Morning Joe, saying he found them "kind, very nice" and that there was no "blood in the streets." Stein and Joe Scarborough contrasted the decency ofTrump supporters with the scare story on the front page of today's New York Times, headlined "Some Donald Trump Voters Warn of Revolution if Hillary Clinton Wins."

Surprising praise for Trump supporters from Sam Stein of the Huffington Post.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Who could be mean to that? It would be like stomping a pomeranian.
He goes on and on about the Bundy’s and how could a jury acquit them and what about the rule of law? Really, with Hillary running for president?
Yes, but that was Scarborough, not Stein.
Somebody needs to remind these basshats in the press about what the Capitol Mall looked like after a Tea Party rally and what it looked like after an immigration rally. It’s bad enough they perpetuate bogus stereotypes of people on the right and those on the left - it’s even worse that they never take the time to find out what those folks are really like.
Perhaps its because they sense a Trump victory and now want to play nice. I predict that we will see more of this in the media over the next 7-10 days.
Keeping his future employment options open.
The left senses a Clinton win. This is the recovery phase to throw a sop to the opposition. You heard the Beast say “we have to come together” after demonizing everything decent and right.
The hell with them.
If Trump doesn’t win, it doesn’t stop with a defeat.
This is only the beginning.
I was thinking the same thing. They feel like they’re going to win, and the last thing they want is insurrection. Makes it kind of hard to impose their agenda if everyone’s switching off their safeties.
They wanted all out electoral warfare from voter fraud and organized violence admissions and the MSM targeted destruction of Trump, but we’re supposed to all sweep that under the rug because of some flattering comments once they feel that victory is in hand? They can F themselves and reap what they sow.
Agreed... but their celebration is a bit premature, I think. Not trusting the media's polls, I think the country may be in for a very large Trump-flavored surprise come election day.
I have been seeing little hints of this very thing. They may be sensing the ‘writing on the wall’.
Stein is kissing up. He knows he might have to beg Trump’s WH to get a coveted press pass.
Ignore the talking heads—they are just there to distract you.
Really people—time to turn off the TVs and do _anything_ else.
You got that right! If you’re blood pressure can stand it , volunteer. At any rate you can donate. Good luck to everyone on this forum and don’t lose any friends or family over this.
Isn’t that a firing offense at Huf’n’Puf?
The New York Times bought the lie Trump supporters were violent too. Turned out Hillary's goons were paying mentally ill street people $1,500 to rough up Trump supporters.
Clinton goons created a self fulfilling prophecy... NYTimes haters fell for it.
I'm guessing Hillary's thugs are all over the Internet - reddit - here - there - and everywhere. They 'correct' truthful comments about Hillary that make her look bad... AND they 'correct' good things about Trump supporters that make them look 'human'.
The New York Times people are narrow minded bigots who believe ANY scare/story - -- hate/story put out by Hillary's goons because they've never taken the time to get to know any Trump supporters. Kind of like how prejudiced whites treated blacks 60 years ago...
