ST. GEORGE, Maine (AP) -- U.S. Chief Justice John Roberts is upgrading his vacation home in Maine.
Roberts and his wife, Jane Roberts, of Chevy Chase, Maryland, purchased a second Hupper Island home in the town of St. George this month. The 1,560-square-foot, waterfront home is larger than the original home on abutting property that they bought in 2006.

maybe this one has a huuuuge wall around it and a tunnel connecting the two homes....maybe he is afraid of something or someone
No, envy is sometimes good. When I was a kid, I always liked those old dudes who drove those nice Benz’s. Promised myself when I become successful I would get one for myself, and I did. same thing to a crazy old neighbor who would yell at us not to play near his nice Corvette. Got that one too.
Chief Justice Johnny Bobs takes a boat ride off Clyde, Maine. Johnny Bobs is the shirtless one, with a vest though, in the stern, looking towards the camera .

It's not an exciting house but here is what Thomas says and pictures - http://mainehomedesign.com/features/1587-this-new-old-house/
The Clintons recently bought the house next door. Now, the Roberts bought the house next door. Smells like Smells like some are feeling the need for a compound. Why? Something evil this way comes?
Actually, coveting your neighbor’s goods is called _jealousy_.
Envy means you don’t want the rich person to have their wealth—it is not the view that you should have it.
Jealousy is one of the seven deadly sins, and I agree, that is bad news.
“I disagree. Envy, is never good. It will eat you alive from the inside out and is one of the seven deadly sins. Gods commandment says not to covet your neighbors goods. It doesnt say dont covet your neighbors goods unless they got them illegally or unethically then its OK.”
We will have to disagree. Perhaps you are confusing envy with inspiration. The essence of God’s commandment is for you not to covet the specific goods of your neighbor, those specific cars. It does not say it is wrong to be inspired to go and earn them for yourself. There is a difference.
I’m willing to speculate as you have done just now but let’s do remember as idiotic as his decision was it’s still merely speculation that his decision was tied to any payment.
No evidence has been brought forth proving the man’s guilt of bribery. God awful decision we all can agree on but criminal? Bribery? Will take more than just stating it
Factually, you are incorrect. It is envy not jealousy that one of the seven deadly sins and envy is defined as a longing for someone else’s goods not just a desire for them to have it by definition it includes the longing of wanting it for yourself. You have the meanings reversed.
Yeah, I know, no proof.
Guess we need more leaks to find out... :-)
Sorry about that—my bad.
Wikipedia confirmed your definition.
Actually just good old fashioned investigative journalism would suffice. But we all know the state of journalism :-(
And that's just their reported net worth in the US. Supposedly they have over a billion in offshore accounts.
Barf, what an ugly view and stinky fishing boats out the front door. Buying anywhere around there makes as much sense as George Clooney buying his Italian Villa where he has to share his driveway with the restaurant/bar 30 feet from one side of his house, a sightseeing boat company on the backside and an invader, uh, immigrant settlement down the road.
Plombo o plata.
I’d best say nothing about Chief Justice Roberts.
I have nothing ‘nice’ to say about him.
His wife is probably on the Clintoon payroll.
Well we do have a 40 ft sailboat for a vacation home. :)
But our home home we’ve been in 20 years and paid $125K for. We also drive nice cars and have enough money to do more or less whatever we want. We do have property in Hawaii I’d like to build on. Don’t really need a million dollar home. Lol
The houses on the adjoining properties are demolished and something akin to a medieval castle with 15-foot thick walls and moats is erected in their stead to keep the peasants out.
Then when Killary steals the election through fraud and Donald Trump's case ends up at the Supreme Court, he'll be well protected when he declares that there's no evidence of fraud and the Queen wins.
