I am waiting for his Mullah-ness to interject himself as the hero
I’M WAITING FOR HILLARY to renounce her Yankee fandom of convenience and try to climb back on the Cub bandwagon.
Cubs are my favorite team, and Cleveland is my favorite AL team. I’m good either way.
I’m a Giants fan and we got beat by the Cubbies (I was there, sadly) in the NLDS after we blew a lead. So I was kinda happy to see them beat the Dodgers. Now I want them to win the whole thing.
I want the Cubs to go down and never win again. Go Tribe!
GOT RUNS?
That suck-ass south sider can stick it. He’s got nothing to do with the north side cubbies!
As a Cubs fan, the Dodgers were a great adversary this week and have a bright future. Lots of young talent who all played at a high level. Great season and series!
Yeah, except the Dodgers couldn’t hit their way out of a cupcake wrapper in the clutch. At least it seemed that way to me.
Nobody cares.
GO CUBS!!!!
Big Ernie Banks fan here.
oboner is a White Sox fan - seriously
I don’t think he’s either, he referred to Comiskey Park as Cominskey Field.
No, not their best the second half of the series. Same for the Cubs for a couple games, but they got it together the past three games. Cubs got swept a year ago and looked like they didn’t belong in the NLCS. Dodgers showed up and at one point had the 2-1 lead. They are on the rise. Great GM. Great manager and a lot of good young guys.
Subtle. And on point.
hadn't thought of that. She was raised in Ill. if I recall
The last time the Cubs won the World Series the WW1 hadnt even started, Wilbur Wright was still demonstrating powered flight, the first Model T had just rolled off the assembly line, Teddy Roosevelt was still President, and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were about to be killed in Bolivia later that year.
Brocko wouldn’t dare touch this. Ohio hangs in the balance so he will be very neutral in his cautious equivocation.
He might even refer to the Cleveland team as the Native Americans.
I want the Cubs to win it all this year......then they can go away for another 108 years.
Of coarse his relationship with his father when he was younger added to the excitement. You know going with dad to the game with his glove hoping to catch a ball, eating a hot dog, enjoying the day out with dad, an all American pastime boys and dads do.
I think it was the super Cub pitchers.
