I've left the GOP and registered again as Independent voter.
I voted Trump at the top of the ballot and voted Libertarian down the ballot in protest at the Republican Party's sabotage of our nominee and collusion to elect Hillary.
Voted NO on major propositions, tax increases and to kick out all incumbent judges.
Was a great feeling and a good early vote here this afternoon for me in my rural Colorado county.
Excellent
Good for you man. I know I hear about folks talking about voting downstream to support Trump but honestly does it matter, most of the GOP are traitors. I don’t think folks are going to be going along with Democrats for a long time after this. I like what you did and I might do exactly that as well.
Good for you!
We really need to have Republicans control Congress. Trump won’t have a chance to legally change anything with Dems controlling either house. The only down ballot Republican that should be booted should be Ryan. That would send a message to the others.
Personally, I think a Trump presidency with Democrats in control of Congress will be the biggest disaster this country has faced in a long time.
I’ll be doing similar except I’ll vote for Tim Scott as well since he supports Trump but none of the others in protest.
I thought early voting here in Colorado doesn’t start until Monday the 24th.
Good for you! Got my ballot yesterday and voted Trump. However, in liberal Washington state I don’t have high hopes that my vote will do much. This place is quite disgusting on the west side.
“I know I hear about folks talking about voting downstream to support Trump”
I too want to throw the R bums out, but doing so invites in worse.
If Trump wins, most of the GOP will fall in line.
The party doesn’t want to win.
So its not like it asked for my vote.
Its not important enough to stop Hillary but they tell us with a straight face they need to keep their majority to check Hillary?
Why must I vote for a bunch of retard losers. I won’t vote Democrat so I did the next best thing.
The party is dead to me today.
Ballots went out on the 17th.
I’d like to see McCain booted. Since he votes with the democrats anyway what does it matter?
It’s worse than that. Trump would probably sign about 90% of the bills that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer put on his desk.
Good thing the courts don't matter.
My county office was open today to vote. Voted there, signed my ballot and dropped it in the box.
Kellyanne Conway said just on Wednesday, after the debate, that Trump wants the Republicans to keep the House and the Senate. I know that some of our brethren are thinking only about themselves. But we have to be calculating. Certainly, the Republicans who merely hedge their support, saying they won’t defend the indefensible, but do not disavow the nominee of the party, deserve consideration. (This is Ron Johnson of Wisconsin.) Joe Heck of Nevada and Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire have fallen in the polls, and are now in trouble to disavowing our nominee. They have got to figure this out. We all hang together or we hang separately.
For the record, the GOP did NOT “sabotage” the Trump campaign in Colorado.
Trump had NO ground game in Colorado and Cruz had an excellent ground game in Colorado.
The Caucus system has been unchanged in Colorado since 2002.
Yes, I voted Trump and GOP down ticket.
Dropping off ballots now.
Check your county office.
They have polls open and you do need to present ID to vote.
