Colorado poll workers are now being trained on how to respond to a mass shooting at the voting booths.
Election officials in Denver and Aurora have added the trainings to their roster of staff preparation this year, and other areas across the state and the country may follow.
This is something we pay a lot of attention to in Colorado, because of the terrible experiences that weve had, Matt Crane, the county clerk who oversees elections in Arapahoe County, said. We want to make sure were as prepared as possible.

shut down polling stations (in key areas) what an Idea....

Right - and the Trump people are the reason for this charade I suppose.
All that weed has mushed up your brains, Colorado.
Be a lot easier and safer if they would simply guarantee one man one vote and only legal votes cast.
Just know this - if that happens, It will be the Democrats trying to kill you and Conservative Christians firing back to protect you. The only reason a CC will be carrying is to protect themselves from Clinton agitators, the BLM, and New Black Panthers. We’re not putting up with their $hip anymore.
Since polling places are gun free zones, it’s probably more likely that a mass shooting will occur there. How long before we have to get the TSA treatment before we can vote?
hire poll workers with CC permits?
Sounds like a way to suppress the vote. Institute an atmosphere of fear so people are afraid to go vote.
Disarming the Election Judges is NOT how you train to respond to potential shooters.
It does increase the odds it will become a MASS shooting.
As long as the polling place isn’t in a school you can legally conceal carry when voting in Colorado. We can carry more places than most states. I know you can’t carry in a poling place in Louisiana.
I work as an election judge (not in the two counties mentioned) and have my CHP. I know all the exits, distances, and how far the main entrance into the voting room is from my desk. None of my coworkers know though they do know I have a CHP
Other than sheriff department beefing up patrols around voting centers, we have not had any specific active shooter training or discussion in my training classes. Could come up in training today but I doubt it
