A central theme of Shall Not Be Infringed is that, despite her efforts to soften her express words, President Hillary Clinton would take steps to do precisely what candidate Hillary Clinton has vowed to do undermine the fundamental Supreme Court ruling in the 2008 District of Columbia v. Heller opinion, that the Second Amendment guarantees an individual right to keep and bear arms. Second Amendment supporters and opponents alike understand that if you overturn that underpinning of Heller, you open the door for all manner of government actions to not just chip away at how an individual chooses to exercise his or her Second Amendment rights, but measure to effectively deny any ability to exercise them in the first place. This clearly will be a litmus test for any Supreme Court nominee submitted by Clinton.
In addition to detailing some of the ways in which the Obama administration has moved to place restrictions on Second Amendment rights without pressing for legislative measures (which would be the proper, constitutional procedure to employ), authors Keene and Mason spend considerable time explaining why the anti-gun actions of the United Nations is a very relevant and timely topic for discussion this election.
Why and how the United Nations is involved actively in gun control are very good questions; especially when voters consider where a President Hillary Clinton would stand on the Second Amendment.

The gun haters just say that they are not infringing the right to keep and bear arms, by defining the right as virtually non-existent.
It is hard to “infringe” something that does not exist.
I and every Trump supporter I know have this issue front and center. We can’t get to the booth quickly enough to vote. I’m willing to bet the vast majority of Trump supporters feel the same way. I know people who don’t particularly like DJT who are voting to protect the SCOTUS and Heller. Unfortunately, a great number of people don’t know, don’t care, or agree with this lunacy.
This issue right here tells you everything you need to know about the craven #nevertrump crowd and their supposed principles. There is no surviving four years to try and unseat Hillary...if she’s in our rights are GONE and they won’t be coming back,
THAT'S the law that makes a felon ineligible to own, and a bunch of other peripherals ... a gun ... ever.
THAT law negates the 'right" the 2nd guarantees, and it is always explained to the felon that "you gave up your right when you .. ", which is ludicrous.
I was a kid and I hot boxed a car or OK, but I spent 10 years in prison and I am now a pastor, or a father of 6, or the owner of a million dollar company ...
Nope, you gave up your right when you ....
Unless and until that monstrosity is repealed, the 2nd has a chink in its armor.
“... has a chink...” I think you just made a racis’ remark. LOL! Seriously, yeah, the GCA ‘68 is/was a loaded piece of manure when enacted on emotion by one of the first (questionably) terrorist attacks culminating in bobby kennedy’s death.
They want to totally eliminate them.

Unintended Consequences by John Ross and Enemies: Foreign and Domestic by Matt Bracken (our very own Travis McGee) are my all time favorite 2nd Amendment books.
I said gun rights and not gun control, and really ... I DO know better.
You have forgotten the 1934 Act. When gangsters were doing each other in, the congress decided we can’t have the bad guys killing each other with machine guns, we have to put a stop to that. Move forward fifty two years and the 1986 version effectively bans the citizenry from owning machine guns. Maybe not immediately, but through obsolescence, age, breakage, the citizenry has been outgunned by their oppressors, through the power of the pen.
‘...at how an individual chooses to exercise his or her Second Amendment rights...’
Words to pay attention to. Libs dont envision a gun free society but rather one in which they get to pick who has and has-not. Their problem isnt with guns but who gets to have them. Their society is one in which the govt and favored groups are armed but the reaminder arent. This makes it easier to force their adgenda on the unarmed and to erradicate those groups viewed as inferior.
LOL! 1934. You mean when you could get a Thompson at the local hardware store? Varmint gun. Then we had GCA ‘68, then came along the 1986 crap that would keep anymore fully automatic weapons out of the hands of civilians then the AWB (sunseted thank goodness). I know I saw the stats someplace as to how many more Class III’s are out there now. Proper maintenance folks. For more info you can check this link. As far as accuracy of the commentary-——

I have a machine gun range within earshot as we speak.

2. If she gets in, there will be enough new citizens created via amnesties of one kind or another among Third World immigrants who hate our freedom (but love our money) to make George W. Bush the last Republican President. Also, don’t underestimate the effects of HUD settling refugees in certain targeted states and Congressional districts - it isn’t random, it is VERY purposeful and is aimed at making the next Dem President the end of the Republican Party as a voice in determining America’s future...that’s all of us deplorables, even if we aren’t happy with the Pubbie leadership.
This election is literally do or die for our Republic. Trump wins, we get a reprieve, and possibly a partial reversal of current trends. Clinton wins, by hook or by crook, and we’re done as a nation. It is THAT simple.
Stated perfectly.
This is why I have nothing but contempt for the NT ‘Republicans’
