Our latest national NBC/WSJ poll is bad news for Donald Trump's prospects three weeks out until Election Day, and the problem for him runs deeper than the headline result showing Trump trailing Hillary Clinton by double digits. He's also underperforming Mitt Romney with key parts of the electorate, including women, men, Latinos, whites, and whites with college degrees. Just look at comparison between Trump's standing in our new poll and Romney's eventual standing in the 2012 exit poll:
As NBC/WSJ co-pollster Bill McInturff (R) observes, these numbers in the poll don't align with anyone who has gone on to win a presidential election. So if Trump is going to win with three weeks to go, it will be one of the most dramatic comebacks in the history of American politics.

“HOGWASH”!!! NBC lies!!! End of story!!!
Romney was laying down on life support, at this time in 2012. Trump’s doing fine.
omg I am crying
The (gaslighting) script will show a close race the week before the election. They ALWAYS do, regardless of the reality.
Chuckles Todd wife is an actual DNC employee and hard core Progressive and runs Dem Smear campaigns .
Just Wow
Nothing to see here.
its literally a conspiracy
Yep.
And when you ask yourself “Why would NBC, who would love nothing more than to see Trump defeated, be using it’s resources to tell us this? -— the answer becomes abundantly clear.
Mark Murray attended a dinner at John Podesta’s home in 2015. Chuck Todd is so boring. They’re all liars.
No, Romney lost, in part, because he could not adapt to a media that is increasingly more partisan in several areas of its operation.
It's just like the incessant whining on FR about "the media is unfair". Really, is that a surprise? I mean, it took Buckhead and FR to expose and take on a mainstream media organization.
Part of Trump's resiliency is that he has disrupted the media's normal mode of operations. This includes being very direct in calling out their relationships with Secretary Clinton, President Obama, etc. He very clearly has gotten inside their OODA loop.
are they implying clinton will perform as well as obama in 2012?
Trumps doing fine.
Yep!!
I remember the disappointment when mccain was nominated(’08) as well as romney(’12).
GO TRUMP!
LMAO.

So true
As NBC/WSJ co-pollster Bill McInturff (R) observes

Verrrrrrrrry Interesting.......(SGT Schultz)
Apparently McInturff is a pollster.
To ‘solidify’ their story, NBC points out McInturff’s political affiliation.
Especially nice when one considers if a D ‘personality’ gets in ‘trouble’ one may go pages into the story before that is revealed.
So I guess the ‘new’ NBC policy is to ID all their on-air personalities whenever their name is announced or picture shown.
Something ‘tells’ me that is not going to or will never happen.
In its apology, NBC admitted that it had used incendiary devices to ensure that a fire would erupt if gasoline leaked from the truck being hit by a test car. The 15-minute segment was addressing critics' charges that GM's full-size pickup trucks built between 1973 and 1987 are unsafe because their gasoline tanks are on the sides of the trucks, outside the frame.
Suuuure - anyone remember this kind of enthusiasm and huge crowds for Romney?
I understand that NBC gave $6 million to the Clinton campaign.
Romney wasn’t filling arenas twice a day several times a week.
Static analysis.
Say what you will about Obama, but he was an INFINITELY stronger candidate than Hillary Clinton.
That’s such bullshit.
Everyone I talk to around me is supporting Trump. It is overwhelming to see how enthusiastic people are for him. The only thing that could keep him from winning is a rigged election. Which looks more and more likely.
