This Saturday at 8:45 p.m. and Sunday at 10 p.m., on C-SPANs "Book-TV", a national TV audience will get to see, unedited, my take on the fate of TWA Flight 800.
In truth, the story should have been on every network. My book, TWA 800: The Crash, The Cover-Up, The Conspiracy, addresses the most successful cover-up in American peacetime history, the one that followed the destruction of TWA Flight 800 off the coast of Long Island in July 1996. The fact that the Clinton White House orchestrated this cover-up during the heat of the 1996 election campaign should have made the new information in the book at least as newsworthy as, say, an eleven-year-old hot mic recording of a Donald Trump locker room chat.
As Trump has been at pains to point out, however, that is not the way our media roll, especially the broadcast media -- except, of course, for C-SPAN. In the way of background, Brian Lamb, a Purdue grad and Navy vet, first conceived of C-SPAN in 1975. While working for a cable industry trade magazine, he saw the need for a nonprofit network funded by the cable industry to televise sessions of Congress and other public affairs presentations. By 1979, C-SPAN was up and running and, as far as I can see, has kept to the straight and narrow.

Yes, it is an excellent video and makes perfect sense. However, wait for it, it neglects the point I was making, that there was a cover-up, why? Why did the FBI take over from the NTSB? There was an election coming up, did the President at that time over-react? The video explains what probably happened, but not the massive cloud of deceit that followed.
I understand your concerns.
If the entire democrat party and the majority of the republican party is actively doing everything possible to subvert the US Constitution and cede control to a world governing body they created for the express purpose of dissolving the United States and enslaving it’s people, when do we call it treason?
Now you are suggesting that some sort of sloppy patriotic sentiment should be binding on a duly elected, bought and paid for Congress.

1996, I was boating in Long Island Sound when I saw what I thought was a flare. My VHF radio was talking about flares, but after it was an explosion of 800. Unreal...
Someone is looking for a book to sell.....and the right audience...
Why don’t you watch the video and then tell me how you come to the idea that someone wants to sell a book. Especially since no book is mentioned in the video.
Yes sir. As the “bent one” said: “I feel your pain”
And as soon as one conspiracy theory is debunked they effortlessly jump to another conspiracy theory.
I’m out of here.
Cheers.
“Simple solution to all the points you have raised: Boat-launched Islamic attack using a medium range Russian rack-mounted missile.”
This would account for the radar records and the numerous eyewitnesses, while the spark in the tank does not.
HA! The POS Kallstrom, buddy of a radio talk host blew that one for Bill. The book of this era will be labeled as fiction as it is so full of sh!t.
Watched the program on C-Span 2 this evening with Jack Cashill. He was asked why. For what reason the cover up? He stated it was due to the Democrats panicking. They panicked as the election was just coming up, and decided to kick the can down the road. He said once they started they couldn’t turn back. He also said they got away with it. They got away with the whole thing, and he’s right, they did.
Another perspective IMO is they organized the coverup as test of their ability to stack circumstances in their favor, and found their system worked. They’re using it again.
The arguments, witness and physical evidence far outweigh the non repeatable case of a center fuel tank. Hulka non of the time.
Flight 800 was an absolutely tragic event. While there is no absolute proof of terrorism there was always a few facts that were disturbing and cannot be ignored. If in fact the problem was wiring in the central fuel tank then why weren’t all aircraft including the Air Force One immediately grounded and the fuel tanks replaced? Jets with that wiring were allowed to continue flying without the necessary extensive overhauls. Boeing never acknowledged the defect and thus far has not been held accountable in court for a faulty design or negligence. Also the documentary suggested that there was disturbing political interference with the investigation and the evidence. However there are facts that counter the observation of numerous witnesses who claim they saw a missile enter the aircraft. Light travels faster than sound. When the fuel tank exploded flaming fuel would shoot out from the exploding tank in what would appear as a thin line of light. Given the lighting conditions of dusk an observer from the ground would hear the sound look up and see ( depending on their location) a stream of light that could be mistaken for a missile entering the jet followed almost immediately by a huge explosion. Jim Kalstrom , the lead FBI investigator had a very impeccable reputation. Truly he was thought to be so honest that he was not capable of “hiding an ice cube in the snow”. Sadly reputations don’t seem to mean much anymore even in the FBI after Comey’s performance in the Hillary e mail cover up. The country has changed quite a bit over the last twenty five years and people are rightly skeptical that a Clinton administration would perform an honest investigation and not compromise the truth for political purposes.
Now what, since the MANPAD thing doesnt work, sub-launched ballistic missile fired?
...
There’s little doubt in my mind that the NTSB conclusion is correct, but their report stated that a portable missile could have reached TWA 800. They also did visibility tests at Eglin, and determined that such a missile would have been visible to witnesses.
Explosion in the center fuel tank blows the forward fuselage off and not the wings?
...
The recovered wreckage indicated that the explosive force went out through a hole in the front of the tank.
It’s in the Series section on the CSPAN website:

Thank you for your insightful post. Appreciate it.
The Eglin test was as expected, but my read of the report shows something different than your read.
According to my read of the report, most observers can see the launch plume but all lost sight post motor burn-out: “All observers reported that they were unable to see the body of the missile from any range.” (Page 254 of the report, http://www.ntsb.gov/investigations/AccidentReports/Reports/AAR0003.pdf)
Moreover, seeing the missile detonate was unobserved by witnesses. Footnote 530 says - “Not all observers reported observing the missile selfdestruct. For example, during the first launch, five of the six observers positioned within 6 nm of the launch site reported observing the missile selfdestruct. NONE of the observers positioned more than 6 nm from the launch site reported observing the missile selfdestruct.” (Same report, page 255)
Cheers.
Facts be darned, proof is not required, and the lack of proof is proof of how good the conspiracy and cover-up is.
