The Obama administration is threatening to launch a vast cyber war against Russia in response to the country’s alleged interference with the presidential election.
Vice President Joe Biden told NBC News Friday that “we’re sending a message” to Russian President Vladimir Putin and that the wide-ranging “clandestine” cyber operation will take place.
“We’re sending a message,” Biden said during an interview with “Meet the Press” that will air on Sunday. “We have the capacity to do it. It will be at the time of our choosing, and under the circumstances that will have the greatest impact,”
The vice president belittled Russia’s alleged interference in the US election but stressed their efforts, however futile, would be responded in kind.
“Their capacity to fundamentally alter the election is not what people think,” Biden said.
“And I tell you what, to the extent that they do we will be proportional in what we do.”
It was not clear whether the American public would be alerted when or if an attack actually took place. When asked about whether the public would even be aware an attack took place Biden simply said “Hope not.”
Intelligence officials told NBC News that CIA has already begun “opening cyber doors, selecting targets and making other preparations for an operation.”
James Stavridis, a retired four-star Navy admiral who served as the supreme allied commander at NATO, told NBC that the CIA should “embarrass” the Kremlin by exposing financial dealings of Putin and his cronies.

This is complete and utter madness. The only ‘interfering’ with the election process is that HRC and the DNC, the President and all his lackeys are being outed. It doesn’t take the Russians to do that.
Diversion! and it is flirting with a war that this incompetent government is prepared to deal with.

Hillary’s reset button was one of the most childish diplomatic stunts in history. Downright ridiculous, yet her adoring media loved it.

Causing hundreds of billions in losses as a result of their meddling is OK as long as they retain power. As far as the possible escalation to a shooting war these fools probably haven't even considered.

These people are mega-desperate. Trump, as president, would mean big worries for a lot of people in Washington, Obama and Clinton especially.
The tape didn’t work, the bimbo eruptions are being debunked as fast as they appear. Everyone knows that alternative media is their biggest enemy, especially the Internet. That’s why they want the UN to run it.
What the tag team of Obama/Clinton are going to do is bite off way more than they can chew when messing with Putin. Putin is not encumbered with “diversity”, “affirmative action”, or “equal rights”. The only thing he understands is strength, and he views Obama as pure snowflake, thru and thru.

I think so too. But, it’s yet another escalation of tensions with the bear that’s dangerous considering we’re one shot down plane in Syria from a crisis.

I remember reading the Russian solution to “cyber attacks” was just to do everything with pen and paper.
(Though it’s fairly similar to the story about how NASA spend millions to create a pen that could write in Zero Gravity and the russians just gave the cosmonauts a pencil...so it’s probably not true at all)
Here’s my theory: Putin is probably the power behind Anonymous and Obama knows or strongly suspects this. Anonymous claims to have a video of Bill Clinton raping an underage girl on Jeffrey Epstein’s Orgy Island and they are threatening to release it in the near future. Obama is trying to intimidate Putin into not releasing it with talk of nuclear war and cyber attacks. Putin won’t be intimidated by Obama so, if I’m pretty close to right here, I’m guessing that Obama will be making a deal with Putin over Syria soon.
If it looks like Trump is going to win, I wouldn’t put anything past these desperate fanatics. They will do anything to stop him. Even start a war.
All this to cover up the Democratic Party misdeeds. Don’t think every lefty is buying this saber rattling with Russia. Well, at least we know Jill Stein isn’t.

Not after. Before. It’s becoming obvious that the hackers have e-mails between Hillary and Obama. This cyber offensive is probably just a cover story for an offensive to destroy these e-mails.
This is utter madness, and is not limited to Joe Biden’s latest statement. Just last week the U.S. Army Chief of Staff boasted to Russia “We will beat you like you’ve never been beaten before” - thus demeaning the office once held by George C. Marshall to a staged TV wrestling stunt. For more than a year the United States has been goading Russia into war, confident that it will be a cakewalk and that we will emerge as the world’s sole ruler. This is hubris. This is madness.
The Democrats are desperate for an October Surprise. Two likely ones would be a deal on Syria and the “liberation” of Mosul. Just weeks before the election.
Obama couldn’t care less about Clinton. There are e-mails out there between him and Hillary that he is trying to bury.
