The larger point of your post shouldn’t be lost on anyone. As bad as things are, e.g. Google now, they could be worse. Think of the election in 2024 when there is no more Free Republic and we FRiends aren’t allowed to register to vote for prior seditionist activities. We gotta slay this dragon now, it’ll be a long time before people like us have again the strenght to re-muster like this. Plus, we’ll all be dead.

Fixing this by elections will be put out of reach. It will either be CW 2.0 or Catastrophic Soviet Failure Syndrome.
I can see Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner expanding his media operations to include a conservative/populist cable channel after the election. He’a s lawyer with an MBA and already owns the New York Observer, so that gives him a pretty solid base to build on. I just can’t see Trump walking away from this close encounter with the “dishonest media” without getting involved in some way.
It sure would be fun to work as a “journalist” for the outfit.

This is probably because many of those journalists who we used to consider conservative have proven themselves to GOPe globalists.
