I get a delayed broadcast of Rush's show after it's on the Internet. So, furious at Ryan/Senor's stab in the back, I was looking forward to hearing Rush take on Ryan. Instead it was deflection (Joy Beyhar, Democrat hypocrisy, etc.) Very little outrage about the highly coordinated and choreographed assault launched by Ryan. Am I wrong or is he pulling his punches?
I’ve switched to Jeff Kuhner at noon. WRKO.com. Try him...you won’t be disappointed, and you’ll be mad at yourself that you didn’t switch earlier.
His FB comments are filled with frustration over the GOP defections on Trump. Rush talks about it and is almost furious
I think this is a lot of it. I'm 66, a year older than Rush, and can feel some of the symptoms of that malady. I still love a political fight, still go to all the local government meetings and blog about them. None of the county commission, city council, or school board members like to see me in their meetings.
But where five years ago, I wanted to fight EVERY fight, now I sometimes let something to that I wouldn't have formerly.
...sometimes let something GO that I formerly...
He even denies the massive civil war going on in the party. It’s as though he thinks that those for Trump are waving their pom poms for the GOPe.
Now. instead of talking about Ryan close advisor, Daniel Senor’s leaked documents, let’s talk about what Eleanor Norton Holmes said. . . Now Joy Bayhar . . .
What???????????????
The most blatant political coup in a lifetime and you want to talk about this fluff?
>>Glenn Beck may be a nut, but he has stepped outside his personal bubble and put it all on the line, many times. Cant say the same for Rush, whos steadfastly remained in his ivory tower, pontificating from on high.<<<
So very true.
In Rush’s early days I listened to him daily. I would not miss a show for he was exactly “the breath of fresh air” we conservatives were gasping for.
As time went on he started looking like an elephant...a “die hard” “toe the party line” Republican. Not only the actual “good” members of the party but “fell on his knees” to service the Republican “big boys and girls” when they dropped their political pants.
He is now “hit or miss” in his show and has certainly lost the support of true conservatives. He clearly has shown that he “is in the tank” for those like Ryan and other pseudo-conservatives masquerading as true patriots.
I simply don’t listen to him any more for as they say “he has gone to seed”.
Stay out of the weeds.
Best advice on here.
These neverTrumpers on the radio, so called ‘conservatives', are giving aid and comfort to the actions of Ryan and the Kabuki party.
These pieces of sh!t demoncrats in the GOPE were encouraged by the neverTrumpers on radio, fox ‘news’, and by the likes of aholes at the national review. Thinking they represented the base.
Rush, Levin, Beck, Loesch, Red Eye, Starns, Cunningham, etc. slammed Trump, the people's enthusiastically chosen nominee, for months on end after the nomination. Most of these frauds are still doing it. Their careers and reputations are over. Fox news is finished. All the neverTrumpers careers are finished. Fvck them.
Lol. I don't think that was Beck's choice. It was the voices in his head telling him to do it.
What this whole fiasco has shown us is that there are very few PATRIOTS left in the country. A lot of them are very good at faking it for the paycheck.
The one that kind of surprised me is Hannity—A true patriot. You can hear the righteous anger and concern in his voice.
Limbaugh did point out that Ryan’s statement took away from what Trump accomplished in the debate. Therefore, it would seem to have been a strategic move by Ryan to accomplish that objective. Which would mean that Ryan is a snake.
“Lol. I don’t think that was Beck’s choice. It was the voices in his head telling him to do it.”
You don’t remember Glenn putting on the enormous 9/12 event in DC with Sarah Palin? He was active with the Tea Party in those days - key word: active. As in, stepping outside his personal bubble to DO something for his country.
When has Rush done anything similar?
“When has Rush done anything similar?”
He hasn’t. Beck is an ‘ACTIVE’ bi-polar attention whore. He would MC a KKK meeting if he got a large enough audience.
I hear what you’re saying about Beck, but let’s not make this about him. I only mentioned him because I thought of him first.
There are any number of other conservative media types who’ve done more than just pontificate from a safe distance about our troubles.
I’m reminded of Thomas Paine, who risked his life to be an activist commentator.
I’ve been listening to Kuhner everyday for about two months or so now.
I love the dude!
I really cannot take the rambling, directionless Limbaugh any longer.
Just reading his thread for today, and it looks like he has people scratching their heads over why is he talking about X instead of the staggering treachery of the GOP.
Look at reality. If Hillary wins....she walks in with marginal health and will not be performing much on travels or public events for four years. All Ryan has to do is create various fake confrontations (like the Republicans have done for eight years), and in 2020...Ryan is the winner of the primary and will go head-to-head against a very weak and unhealthy Hillary (go imagine how her present condition will only get worse), and Ryan wins in 2020.
Take your pills.
Which of my pills shall I take?
Metformin?
Glimeperide?
Lisinopril?
Atovastatin?
Brilinta?
Low dose aspirin?
Magnesium Citrate?
Which will it be?
As you can easily see from reading responses in this thread, I am not the only one who thinks Rush is a GOP stooge, or a sellout, or a water carrier, or a whore, or whatever else.
Shall we all take our pills?
Or maybe you should take your pills.
