Can former vice president Al Gore, who hasnt been on the ballot in a decade and a half, persuade young voters to back Hillary Clinton by appearing in hurricane-battered South Florida?
He and the Democratic presidential nominee will start testing this proposition Tuesday afternoon, when the two appear together at Miami Dade College.
The location has plenty of symbolic importance the area has not only just been battered by Hurricane Matthew, it is also a part of the country most vulnerable to sea-level rise and in the state where Green Party candidate Ralph Nader helped derail Gores 2000 presidential candidacy.

Yea, that should work great. We need a slew of ManBearPig posters and signs to greet this lying ahole.
He doesnt have to rally them, they’ve all been indoctrinated thanks to our indoctrination centers posing as universities.
ManBearPig to woo millennials? LOL!
He is super cereal!!
My guess is that about 40 goof balls will attend. And CNN will cover it like the super bowl.
Just to give us an idea what a leftist moron looks like.
Speaking of man-bear-pig could she be woman-bear-pig?
ROTFLOL!!!
AlGore doesn’t even know that he has become a caricature of himself: a standing joke, as it were.
Expect to see a few climate groupies there, but not much of anything else for the “sexy poodle”.
LOL, no doubt!
(Don't you know? Once anything is made into a movie, it is the absolute truth.)
I hate to speak for Laz, but I don’t think he would hit it.
Just had a Caddyshack vision:
When Judge Smells' wife is trying to talk hip to the kids: "...and you can all shake your booties down by the dock..."
I can see AlGore talking like that.
Miami was not “battered by hurricane Matthew”
South Florida was not “battered” by Matthew. They barely got TS force winds. This is ridiculous.
I can’t imagine anyone showing up for him....
Don’t think they could pay millennials enough to sit though a Gore lecture.
My millenial just said, “Al Gore? Is he still relevant?”
Their pop culture includes Southpark cartoons, which treats him as a big loser. And, my millenial ads, it’s perceived that his movie, “An inconvenient truth” was not particularly true or accurate.
I guess if you’re a college student millennial snowflake you might have been terrorized by the gently swaying palms and the intermittent power outages. Hopefully they all had access to their safe spaces....
That’s a man, baby !
