SALT LAKE CITY -- Congressman Jason Chaffetz said he is withdrawing his support for Donald Trump Friday after a video surfaced showing the Republican candidate for president making vulgar remarks in 2005 about touching and kissing women without their consent.
Chaffetz, a Republican representing Utah's Third Congressional District, appeared on Fox 13 News at Nine Friday, saying: "I'm out. I can no longer in good conscience endorse this person for president. It is some of the most abhorrent and offensive comments that you can possibly imagine."
Rep. Chaffetz said he and his wife have a 15-year-old daughter, and he said if he can't look her in the eye and tell her about what Trump said he can't endorse the man.
While Chaffetz said he isn't sure who he will vote for, he said he won't be voting for Hillary Clinton and added that it's a shame Mike Pence isn't at the top of the ticket. He also said Trump's response to the criticism was an apology for getting caught, not an apology for his behavior.
Earlier Friday, Utah Gov. Gary Herbert also reacted to the footage and stated he would not vote for Donald Trump.

Chaffetz doesn’t care about America or even the GOP. He’s on CNN and MSNBC selling out. The GOP is finished as a serious party. And they are happy about it that’s reality. We are to be an illegal and Muslim nation.
No matter what comes out against Hillary, it doesn’t matter. Her people don’t refuse to endorse or retract endorsements. They circle their wagons. Republicans always cut and run. Republicans also lose.
They were always keeping their Never-Trump selves in hiding. Now the RINOS can let their inner Democrats out of the closet!

This was some rather coarse talk between two guys and never would have been said if anyone knew the mic was hot.
Believe me, I have heard far worse talk between women.
How is that so much worse than a woman telling a man, in public, he has a 2” brick or can get it up and satisfy her?
I have heard those things said directly to a men, who have always walked away with their head hung low.
I guarantee you, no woman has ever said anything like I’ve heard said to other me in public but, if it ever did happen, she would never survive the onslaught of envective and foul put downs that I’ve stored for 35 years and I’m quick about going on the offensive when you have a crossed a boundary, you really shouldn’t have and expect not to have it come right back, in spades.

It’s a shame that never garnered the media coverage that this did. Trump MUST bring it up at the debate. Explain how Hillary ruined this woman’s life. She couldn’t even have children because of this.
