Any news outlet wishing to provide solid and comprehensive coverage of the 2016 presidential campaign cannot avoid mentioning Sean Hannity's promotion of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. "Hannity," which airs in the prime-time lineup of Fox News, is influential among conservatives and enjoys a substantial cable news audience, and its more interesting moments have a long tail on the Internet. In violation of any journalistic principle, Hannity has done a video promotion for Trump, hosted him for softball interviews too numerous to recount and even provided advice to the campaign.
BuzzFeed, the New York Times, The Washington Post and the rest of the field have reported extensively on this dynamic.
And last night, another important source of campaign news Megyn Kellys own prime-time show on Fox News covered it as well. Donald Trump, with all due respect to my friend at 10:00, will go on Hannity and pretty much only Hannity and will not venture out to the unsafe spaces these days, said the host in a segment with Stuart Stevens, a strategist who worked on the Mitt Romney campaign. Nor were those remarks an out-of-the-blue, impolitic slam on a colleague. Just before uttering that point, Kelly ripped into Hillary Clinton for pursuing a similar self-sheltering policy: Now theyre both in their own version of a presidential protection program
Theyve designed her situation so shes not in a place where shes feels uncomfortable
which is why she sat for a half an hour with Mary J. Blige the singer, which is why she did Entertainment Tonight this evening, which is why we just found out that when she went on the Steve Harvey show, she had every single question given to her in writing in advance and then she feigned surprise as the questions were asked.

No kidding!!! Can’t stand either one anymore.
As opposed to the rest of the media throwing away any shred of journalistic ethics this cycle to try to destroy Trump.
Hannity is a commentator - an opinion purveyor like WAPO’s columnists - he doesn’t pretend to be a hard news guy - he’s allowed to be for whom ever he wants to be for - at least he doesn’t try to foist his preferences off on viewers as “real news”.....
More drivel from the bezos blog.
Heh. I like that.
The entire media acts 24/7 in unison as co-ordinated branch of the Clinton campaign, and the only bias is an hour here and there where someone talks about something else? Really?
The Washington Post is the f-ing Whore of Babylon of journalism.
They’re all whores. Hannity’s allegedly preferential treatment of Trump is hardly unique, except that Trump is a Republican.
Hey Washington Post, I have three words for you: pot, kettle, black.
The morning people seem to be Trump supporters or, at least do not show a lot of bias.
“Fair and Balanced” means balancing the truth with PC lies.
“Fair and Balanced” = “Dumb and Dumber”.
Sean is not a “journalist” he is a commentator and freely admits his biases. Megyn does not admit hers and she does claim to be a journalist. There is no journalism on abccbsnbccnnmsnbcpbswaponyclimes. They are all wholly owned by the democratic party.
So trump has fox and the rest of the scumedia is for Clinton
Fox Business has some Trump supporters but not many.
Quote:
“Is there someone out their that is able to debate and win with the style and factual confidence that Buckley possessed?”
Lou Dobbs.
Hannity has said, countless times, that his show IS NOT A NEWS SHOW, it’s a talk show, presented for commentary, discussion, and views.
On the other hand, MeGYNs show IS a news show that uses its time bashing Trump and mollycoddling Hillary.
I don’t know why these journalistic geniuses cat figure that out.
Agree with your entire post!
All the pro Trump shows are doing well. Hannity, Judge Jenine, Maria Bartilomo, Fox Friends, Orielly, Outnumbered. The rest are tanking!
HOORAY Donald J Trump
HOORAY Hannity
