Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) lost badly to Indiana Gov. Mike Pence in Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate — despite having home field advantage in Farmville, Virginia — raising new doubts about Hillary Clinton.
Those doubts are twofold: first, about her decision to choose so weak a candidate, who seemed unable to answer basic policy questions; and second, about Clinton’s health, since if her medical troubles are as bad as feared, Kaine may be taking over at some point if she is elected.
Kaine could not stop interrupting Pence, at times sounding high-pitched and shrill, at times whining and defensive. Pence was cool and even-tempered — presidential, in other words, while Kaine seemed to be playing cable news pundit.

Did anyone catch the bizarre response he gave regarding abortion? Pence is the adult, with a savvy straight look that addresses late term abortions.
We’re not talking about rape, incest etc here folks, we’re talking about someone going into labor, the head is delivered, the throat is cut, and then the baby expelled dead.
There might be a medical reason to do this to save the mother, but to do this on a whim for psychological reasons is wrong.
You can never get the media to ask a democrat straight up, to respond yes or no on this.
Pence didn’t push it, when he could have. The Lutz focus group gave Kaine the advantage only on his response.

Initially thought the same thing... But think about this... There was probably higher viewership in VA, as people know the debate is in their state.... and what did voters in a swing state see? A very, very impressive performance by Mike Pence, and an embarrassing representative of their state. May end up causing a moderate swing of votes toward Mr. Trump
