"NASA caused quite a stir when news of the space agency changing the 12 zodiac signs, adding a 13th sign called Ophiuchus, surfaced online. However, NASA has denied such claims and said that with or without the change in zodiac signs, astrology is still fake.
The ruckus was caused when Cosmopolitan posted an article, saying that NASA has decided to change the astrological signs for the first time in 2,000 years. The article says that the change was caused by the stars and Earth's axis being different today than it was in the past."

I don’t doubt that NASA wants good press, but it’s comments on this were a result of recent rumors and news stories that implied/stated they had “made up a new constellation” for the Zodiac.

This was predicted long ago by an astrologer.
The Zodiac is the set of (major) constellations that are intersected by the ecliptic, it appears. Ophiuchus is technically now part of that set.
Why shouldn’t astronomers tweak astrologers. Some of them have taken the bait.

NASA needs to go where EPA needs to go, or rather the to where the Republic needs them to go. Trump needs to be strong enough and clear enough to put a million or so Federal employees out to work either uncompensated or with one time payments and NO pensions while he totally abolishes most of the agencies down to the original 4 Departments. If he can do that then we can breath again except for the part where we will have an all powerful dictator in charge. The Republic is over, one way or another. A powerful dictator with Trump’s sensibilities will put all the gangsters and Communists in jail and kick out the Moslems. A powerful gangster Mrs Bill will start killing off her enemies surreptitiously then the discretion will go by the way and some serious killing will begin to happen.
This doesn’t count all the other ones the moon and planets can pass through since they can be north or south of the ecliptic

How does one ascertain north or south in space? North or south relative to what?
Earth, since the ecliptic itself is defined by Earth's orbit around the sun.
Any more, if someone asks me what sign I was born under I’ll tell them ‘the cross’.

Most of astrological forecasting is foolish, but there are some very interesting and non-falsifiable results in regards to some aspects of astrology, for example : personality traits and birth dates
