Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump took to Twitter early Friday morning to go to war with his latest campaign nemesis: former Miss Universe Alicia Machado.
During the debate earlier this week, Democrat Hillary Clinton brought up Trump’s past weight-shaming comments about Machado, who was Miss Venezuela when Trump took over the Miss Universe beauty pageant in 1996. Machado, now a well-known actress in Latin America, says Trump once called her “fat,” “ugly” and “Miss Piggy,” among other things.
In tweets posted a little after 5 a.m. on Friday, Trump brought up reports indicating that Machado was once accused of driving a getaway car from a murder scene in Venezuela. (Earlier this week, CNN’s Anderson Cooper asked Machado, who was never charged, about the allegation. She admitted to not being a “saint girl” but said the real issue at hand was Trump’s attempt to “destroy my self-esteem.”) Trump also suggested that the public “check out” Machado’s “sex tape and past.”

R-E-L-A-X! Just treat this as a Friday document dump. The VP debate is Tuesday night and the media will be too busy on Wednesday declaring Kaine the winner. All this crap will forgotten by Thursday.
I agree. If you trust Trump enough to be POTUS and run the most powerful country in the world you need to trust him enough to run a campaign. I;m sure his is privy to a lot of info we are not.

Exactly! It wasn’t a tirade. He sent 3 tweets that questioned Hillary’s judgement. The press is hoping you don’t read the tweets and read thier headlines.

Yeah, it was just a little light banter from Trump. Other than Trump calling her “disgusting” and saying “go look at her sex tape”. Which apparently doesn’t exist by the way. You can expect 30 minutes on this nonsense at the next debate, BTW. Trump knows better than this. He really pooped the bed this time.
Trump needs to hit once and move on. He should be explaining why he’s the right candidate or why Hillary is the wrong tyrant; spending more time on a side show is wasteful.
I don’t think he literally meant for people to watch the sex tape. I think he was including that as part of a tweet encouraging people to see who she is, but if he was going to single something out, he should have singled out that she drove the getaway car in an attempted murder and threatened to kill the judge.
That said, bringing up the sex tape and tweeting about this in general is just taking Hillary’s bait. Let the surrogates expose her.

The videos do exist. She was an accessory to murder, threatened to kill the judge in the case and has a child out of wedlock from a known member of a drug cartel. Anyone who refuses to vote for Trump over this is looking for an excuse.
This is going to be a subject for the debate anyway. He has a choice to allow it to continue or address it. He rightly chose addressed it.
I get a kick out of people who believe a candidate doesn’t have a right to defend himself. They think he should just keep his mouth shut and allow the other candidate to hammer away. This is a loosing strategy. It didn’t work for Romney of McCain. I’m glad we finally have a candidate who is willing to fight back.

However, we need to raise our daughters to NOT CARE who calls who fat or whatever. They need to be stronger than the daughters of the LIV ‘feelers’ and emos. They will be the ones doing important things with their lives while the emo’s daughters are cowering in their are cowering in their ‘safe spaces’.
I’m not going to give an inch on this. Clinton is the one who wants girls/women to be afraid of what men like Donald Trump think of them. That’s what that ad is telling them. That’s how we should respond to this.
