Bump for later
I have Seven on a laptop and it is annoying six different ways from Sunday.
I've heard plenty enough on Microsoft's "rental" operating system called Windows 10, and I really have no interest in sending Microsoft money on a regular basis. I do everything I can to keep any of my dollars out of the pockets of Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Apple, or various other Liberal Tech Geek Companies who are trying to kill us.
I may be switching to Linux in the not too distant future.
I let Win10 on my laptop. I was in the process of making it dual boot with Mint, but couldn’t find any blank DVDs in the house - I thought I had half a box somewhere - and I haven’t gotten any since all I could find was a spindle of 50 at Walmart.
Is it as bad as they say?
It’s great, been using it for a while now on the IPhone.
So, it won't necessarily go away all at once. If there's enough demand for the service, it will be provided.
Most of the new ‘features’ are spyware, which I’ve blocked as best I can. I had to block updates for everything except the anti-virus software after having to restore to an earlier point twice. I avoid the Edge browser (more spyware), using Firefox backed up by IE. I had to download a third party calculator and third party software to play DVDs, since neither is supported by the OS. They did let me download for free a card game package from their Xbox games to replace the the one that used to come standard (but no Mahjong Titans nor Hearts). They came with an icon pre-installed for IHeart Radio, but they want me to set up an account with them to actually install the software to go with the icon, so no thanks.
Generally, no less functional than 7 (except for the spyware). Certainly no reason to downgrade my somewhat secure Win7 desktop machine to 10. I can see where it would be useful on a touchscreen.
Thanks. That confirms my thinking in not wanting it. They kept trying to install it on my Windows 7 machine, and I kept saying “no.”
after a while it will ignore your no and install anyhow.
opt for no updates and fix it often because it even changes that choice.
The UN will control Icaan.57 Muslim countries control the UN. These Muslim countries act as a block. They will sooner or later remove sites critical of Islam from search engines

There is a strong push for fiber optic to every place.I had to switch to fiber as the phone co-op stated they would not maintain the copper for just the half dozen of us when 98% of customers were on the fiber. And the user agreement forbids digital signals being sent over the voice line connected to the fiber interface!
Dial up is no longer an option.
Yup, he met an untimely death to be sure.
Great film though wasn’t it!
I was really pissed when they cancelled “Firefly” :-/
