Washington Slimes says the online polls are worthless

They think Frank Luntz's group of 18 out of 20 thinking Clinton won is more accurate lol

What is actually worthless is the “News Media” asking “who won the debate” and then misapplying that response as indicating who is winning the election. What is being carefully hidden by the media is while a whole lot of people may think Hillary “won the debate” almost none of them are changing their minds about who they will be voting for because of it.

what on line polls do is initiated the intensity of a candidates base support. On line voting is a affirming action just like going to the polls in Nov requires action. Hillary on line poll numbers indicates almost there is almost no energy on her side with voters.

If you recall Ron Paul won every online poll overwhelmingly, and never came anywhere near winning any primary or caucus. They are a good measure of enthusiasm.

The real value is that they show the high level of ENTHUSIASM for Trump and the low level of enthusiasm for her. That said, if it wasn’t 70/30 if it was say 55/45 maybe they would have a case, but it is a YUGE gap and no amount of sophistry can make it go away.

Everyone knows the separate groups game the polls.

Leftist sites generally have the Leftist interest beating the Conservative interest by a wide margin.

Conservative sites generally have the Conservative interest beating the Leftist interest by a wide margin.

Where the needle flys across the record with the resulting sound, is when the Leftist sites start revealing a poll that mirrors Conservative interests.

That happened last night. It was a great big deal!

Hillary hasn’t got much support out there folks.

Trump does.

Frank Luntz is a real sad jerk and a liberal. No creditability.

They said the same thing in the primary. How’d that work out?

Never ceases to amaze me how there is always one guy around who wants to piss in the fresh water bottle.

Paul never achieved what Trump did last night, winning in all but one poll on ANY given night.

It also tells us the Witch doesn’t have as many supporters because hers could do the same thing, so mutual multiple voting pretty balances itself out.

I expect her numbers to stabilize and likely rise a bit in the coming week. She pandered to her base, and that usually works in a limited way. But I also expect Trump's numbers to rise a bit more than hers as the undecideds or previously tagged 3rd party voters settle on the two main candidates.

Huh? So Hillary goes up and trump goes up more...Isn't this the same as just saying the net effect is Trumps numbers should rise. You should work the MSM, used 100 words to say basically nothing.

Online polls are scientifically useless, except as thermometers of enthusiasm for the candidates. They highlight the discrepancies therewith, and will be reflected in the voting booths.

Trump LANDSLIDE!!!!

Most polls are worthless. Most are badly or corruptly designed and analyzed.

(I was in the business for a few years, but quit in disgust at what I saw.)

Online polls are so easily messed with on the front end or the back end that they are useless.

Ah, the poster I was responding to, and I quoted, indicated Hillary’s numbers would drop like a rock. I countered that by saying I didn’t think her numbers would drop at all. I am basically saying both will go up from here, but I believe Trump will go up more. Not sure about your confusion.

On-line polls apparently mean enough that a dissatisfied newspaper had to address it—by discounting it.

Actors Wanted

Would you like to play the role of an non-political "undecided voter" who coverts to a dedicated democrat and Hillary supporter over the course of a 90 minute debate?

Then you could star in a "Frank Luntz" theatrical production!

Scripts available upon request. Many roles available. Choose the one that best suits your acting talents:

- The handwringing soccer mom who thinks Trump is too angry and worries about her kids under a Trump presidency.
- The old, retired grandmother who is turned off because of the way Trump speaks to Hillary.
- The urban college boy of questionable sexuality who goes from thinking Hillary is old and boring to Hip and Cool over the course of the debate.
- The sassy black women who "ain't gonna vote for no man that questions Obama's birthplace"
- The well dressed, articulate Hispanic/Muslim who doesn't understand why Trump hates him/her.
- The "ringer" - the one token participant who ends up supporting Trump. Old, overweight men referred, uses course language, may refer to Hillary as a b-tch, a strong southern accent a plus, makeup and wardrobe will provide Swastika tattoos and confederate flag shirt.
