Protecting Internet Freedom Act Legislative Update
Legislative Offices ^ | 9/26/26 | bushwon

Posted on 09/26/2016 12:42:04 PM PDT by Freedom56v2

Friday, Sept. 30, is deadline for Protecting Internet Freedom Act - SB3031 and HR5418 THAT IS FOUR DAYS!!

Talked to Cruz and Duffy offices 9/26. McConnell's tech person was supposed to call back...in meetings 2 hours ago...Cornyn went to voicemail.

Cruz office: Suggested call McConnell! Senate needs to include language form both SB3031 and HR5418 in Continuing Resolution (CR). We need to light a fire~McConnell needs to make this a priority. Senator Cornyn is the Whip and has influence over what is brought to floor. They felt it was ok to contact Ryan too. Make this a priority!!!

Duffy office: They said getting senate bill to contain Protecting Internet Freedom Act language is critical...Much harder for House to move if the Senate does not have the language in the CR.

They believe Ryan is supportive of their efforts...He has supported prohibiting the transfer for past 2.5 years. They believe Democrats should be called in order to bring pressure on Obama to sign a CR with the language as well as our elected Congressional Reps.

Concern: Reason to pressure Dems...There is no guarantee that Obama would not veto the CR (even losing his coveted Zika funding) in order to be able to allow the ICANN and .mil .gov governance to go off shore to China or UN on Oct. 1...So need to pressure Dems--that means Democratic Senators and Pelosi and Reid.

Folks, it is crunch time...Do what you can. Call Email or Tweet the following:

MITCH MCCONNELL http://www.mcconnell.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/contact 202-224-2541 Washington

JOHN CORNYN: Majority Whip, - bring SB3031 to floor https://www.cornyn.senate.gov/contact 202-224-2934

HARRY REID: http://www.reid.senate.gov/contact 202-224-3542

NANCY PELOSI: http://www.democraticleader.gov/contact-us/# 202-225-0100

PAUL RYAN: http://www.speaker.gov/contact 225-0600

TOPICS: Government; News/Current Events; Politics/Elections
KEYWORDS: cruz; duffy; globalism; icann; internetgiveaway; sovereignty; tyranny
Folks, Duffy has been working on this for nearly 3 years and gotten it stopped twice before...Obama is pushing harder for this than before because end of his reign of t.

Cruz has people working on this around the clock to try to make it happen.

That said, their tone seemed to indicate they are more concerned than last week...Please consider a few minutes to do a call/email or tweet!

I called McConnell's Kentucky office (502) 582-6304 and told them that if the Protecting Internet Freedom Act with the SB & HR language isn't passed, I will vote DEMOCRAT straight ticket, EXCEPT FOR TRUMP, I AM VOTING FOR TRUMP REGARDLESS AND HE IS AGAINST GIVEAWAY OF THE INTERNET TO THE NWO CABAL who will SURELY disable all conservative websites.

It seems contacting DC and even leaving a message is nearly impossible. CORNYN's voice message is RIDICULOUS, an endless loop of babble and additional phone numbers.

I’ll be writing Portman, Brown, and Wenstrup about this. I should have done it sooner.

It’s just another form of shipping American jobs, American technology, and American power to enemies.

Thanks, Clinton and Obama, for your wonderful foreign policy. /sarc

I’ll write tomorrow.

Thank you so much...Made my day to see some folks doing this.

Now is crunch time when it is important—not even sure comments from 2 weeks ago would be as important—I will be recalling my elected “representatives*”
(*I use the term very loosely)

I think if they get calls over next few days it could move the ball...

Thanks and thanks for the Breitbart article too.

ICANN is NOT a ‘phone book’, DAGNABBIT!

Too many people are confused.

Let’s cut through the lies and make this as simple as ‘ABC’.

So calling a local number for McConnell makes it more likely to reach a human being. Thanks for all the phone numbers, bushwon.

Today is over back East. The debate of the “century” (16 years old) has captured the world’s attention. Hillary is an old pro under the most intense pressure. Trump is an old pro from his years on the Apprentice, where most of us got to know something about him.

Will return to fight against the ICANN transfer tomorrow.

‘I should have done it sooner.’

Your timing is perfect. Up ‘til now it was more important to network with others and/or research.
