Fernando Machado and Diane Rodriguez have become a father and mother after Fernando, who was born Maria, gave birth to a healthy baby.
Neither he nor Diane, who used to be a man, has undergone gender reassignment surgery, meaning they were able to conceive.
Fernando told the BBC about his range of emotions when they found out about the pregnancy.
Diane added: ‘Being a mother was never something I thought I would do because I am a transsexual.’
Last year, the Mirror reported that the pair met via social media, and Fernando moved to Ecuador from Venezuela to be with Diane.
The new parents have started an awareness campaign for LGBT rights since the baby’s birth.
The reason so many people freak out about transgenders in bathrooms/locker rooms/changing rooms - they have male plumbing and most retain sexual attraction to women ... so he’s a man attracted to women but claims to be both a woman and thus a lesbian.

Cosplay what we called “playing pretend,” when I was a girl. Dressing up as, say, “The Aristocats” or “Super Friends” and acting out a story. Nowadays it’s teenagers going to the mall dressed as cartoon characters. A lot of it is Japanese, though, so it’s weirder.
Also, we live in a weirder time. In the 70s, nobody would have said that little girls acting out Batman or Superman shows - or boy kittens, because we couldn’t all be Marie - were “transgender.” Now, I shudder to think.

I rue the day the word “gender” escaped from the Grammar Corral and started galloping madly up and down Identity Avenue.
"Trans" means "fake".
Trans man (or "transsexual man" or "transgender man") = a fake man.
Trans woman (or "transsexual woman" or "transgender woman") = a fake woman.
In this story, the party that has, and has always had, ovaries and a uterus, was impregnated by the party that has, and has always had, testes and a penis.
Neither one of them had ever had their sexual/reproductive organs removed.
Therefore it's just a story of a woman being impregnated in the usual way by a man.
Only different thing is that they had juggled their names, clothes and hair-dos. With no discernible improvement.

Anyway, While I tried to mind my own business regarding the LGBT issues. Sometimes I wonder if Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed for less. This type of child rearing is just beyond my ‘thinking cap’.

How is it not possible. The ‘father’ who gave birth was born a woman. The ‘mother’ was born a man.

Yeah, I know “he” is a woman, but the headline is a complete lie and impossible. A man can’t give birth. A woman pretending to be a man can.
To sum up: A man and woman had a baby. The man pretends he is a woman and the woman pretends she is a man.
