Feminists scream that this made the woman property, but I ain’t so certain. HE was forbidden to divorce HER, but divorce was not symmetrical in that culture. One partner took initiative to “put the other away” in a divorce. As far as I can see... SHE could still divorce HIM if she chose.

I never understood what compelled Huma to marry this creep. It seemed like this marriage was arranged by the Clinton’s perhaps to cover up rumors of Huma’s sexual relationship with Hillary.

Bill Clinton officiated at Weiner’s wedding to Hillary’s top aide.
I had a situation kind of like this, a grown man befriending my young son and his friends. They started exchanging emails, and the guy started with that kind of talk "Oh, I am here for you, I understand feeling different and left out, I am your friend you can trust", blah blah. I saw the emails, then I wrote him back using his account.
I let the guy know, in no uncertain terms, that if he EVER had any kind of contact with any of the kids, I would handle things myself, and if he was real lucky, I would go to the police.
We never saw or heard of him again.
Because Huma is scum as well maybe?
