Athletes across the country have been sitting or kneeling during the national anthem in recent weeks to protest police brutality and racism. But a football game in Washington, D.C. may mark the first time a squad of cheerleaders has taken a knee during the song.
Cheerleaders at Howard University joined a national protest on Saturday afternoon by kneeling during the anthem at the AT&T Nation's Football Classic at RFK Stadium.

The power of the pen. A concerted effort by many, to write editorials to each newspaper and to send letters to school administrators, possibly even petitions. There are enough people on this site to alter the course but some good writers are needed. I can wordsmith the daylights out of something and have written to many editors, congressmen, senators, and a governor or two. But lots more need to involve themselves.
The general warmunist response to this is just to scoff, as if “everybody knew” that skepticism was so yesterday. People with patience to carry out dialogues are also needed.
......kneeling is a more overtly worshipful gesture ......
That comment is so spot on someone with a powerful microphone like
Rush or Trump should point this out.
A lot of fun could be had with these kids who mean well but obviously don’t understand the basics
... and one common problem today is that we want INSTANT ANSWERS. The ancient painstaking quest for wisdom, distilled ten times over as it were, seems so passe with the deceitful convenience of “Googling up the answer.”
Apparently they did segregate themselves; I don’t see any “American-Americans” in that photo.
I agree with your post but it is also about two other things namely motivation & mobilization.
The M&M is a tough one
Time to boycott football events. Honest.
This began years ago when they started singing the national anthem in those improvised manners. It was a way of dishonoring the song and the country. They would never do the same to foreign anthems, e.g. the Canadian.
But the protests have to be good because (liberal) blacks can only do good. The fact is they are selfish, spoiled, ignorant, brainwashed, racist traitors.
Hell—Most of them wouldn’t have made it out of high school, let alone be in college, were it not for lowered standards.
ship them all back to outer botswana!
[And what, exactly, were we supposed to do about that short of violence?]
Stop the funding and vote out the board members. Historically conservatives do not run for school boards. Liberals are hired as teachers, who then poison the minds of young people.
The silent church and silent parenting are to blame too.
This is the fruit of our non-labor.

This is becoming a movememt and will only grow from here. I would expect this to spread to the fans in some cases. Although most pro sports fans are patriotic. College not so much.
Cheer leaders kneeling? Hmmm... Hey girls while youre down there... Oh nevermind.
boycott football is cool with me....
someone has to put a stop this nonsense (imho)
“Cheer leaders kneeling? Hmmm... Hey girls while youre down there... Oh nevermind.”
Probably why the NFL players take a knee, too; they’re used to it.
Around here, they have done it, only to be targeted by lavishly funded liberals and character-smeared out of wanting anything to do with "public" institutions.
Where I live most people vote for school board members that are teachers, basically voting for the fox to guard the hen house.
I say the most important thing any of us can do to take back the school system is to educate your friends and neighbors about the proper role of the school board.
