Historically conservatives do not run for school boards.

Around here, they have done it, only to be targeted by lavishly funded liberals and character-smeared out of wanting anything to do with "public" institutions.

I say that most people don't even know the proper role of the school board, which is to represent the taxpayers.

Where I live most people vote for school board members that are teachers, basically voting for the fox to guard the hen house.

I say the most important thing any of us can do to take back the school system is to educate your friends and neighbors about the proper role of the school board.
