Smart move. That label, "conservative agenda," is toxic. Cruz would have been slaughtered. Trump is doing a darn good job of setting the terms to be used in his narrative.

Shrunks, shrinks, skunks, skinks ... they just need to get with it. The news is comedy, deadpan. It takes some getting used to that fact, but once you see it, the news is very entertaining.
Trump being played on CNN as thinking the guy shot in Tulsa was following orders, it looked like it to him. He is going to have to reverse this, or wait for more info, but I credit him for describing the sources of his belief - a video, and remarks from family.
Even the ex-CBC executive Director [who hates Trump with a passion and is not bashful about it] is impressed with Trump. }This feels different." The panel is gobsmacked.

Just a thought about Trump’s “worst shape ever ever ever.” The press is determined to anyze this on what I will call a “gloabl” or macro basis. What are the statistics? I submit that individual voters, and probably many of them, for them things are the worst ever ever ever.
