JonBenet Ramsey was killed by her older brother Burke and it was covered up by her parents after a fight over a midnight snack of pineapples, investigators have claimed.
The six-year-old's mother Patsy Ramsey called 911 on December 26, 1996 to report that her six-year-old daughter had been kidnapped from her family's home in Boulder, Colorado.
JonBenet, a child beauty queen, was found beaten and strangled on the floor of the family's cellar several hours after the 911 call.

I have watched all of these programs including Dr Phil. Burke was extremely creepy.......... And yes, I believe he did it. The parents did a good job of covering it up. Sad story, start to finish. I would never put my daughter into beauty pageants , that too was creepy!
BTW, read the “ransom note”. It sounds exactly like a non-criminal” trying to portray themselves as a bonafide criminal....very transparent in that regard.
“Burke Ramsay could never have been charged. But the District Attorney should be charged as an accomplice. He is the reason that it was never resolved.”

The PD’s biggest muckup was in not taking the Ramseys in for seperate questioning right away. It’s my thinking that would have cleared things up pretty quickly.
I also have not watched Dr. Phil or any recent TV programs about this case. Based on what I remember at the time of the murder, I've always felt she was killed by someone in the family. If it was an intruder, why would you write a ransom note, then leave the body in the house? Wouldn't you hide the body somewhere else, and hope it wasn't found until after the ransom was paid? Also, the parents refused to speak with the police. I remember seeing an interview with the father of Polly Klaas. He said he couldn't understand why the Ramseys would refuse to cooperate with the police if it was an intruder. He further stated that when his own daughter was abducted and killed, he spoke with the police on a daily basis, telling them everything he could possibly think of that might help them solve the case. The Ramseys also each hired a publicist to speak to the press for them. Who does that?
I’m still holding out for the THAILAND? dude.
Burke Ramsay could never have been charged.”
Not precisely true. He could have been charged, just not with murder.
Well, I was not surprised .. Burke was very vocal about how all the attention was given to his sister. That is probably the most common issue between siblings.
Daughter was gold mine of applause toward the mother; which is really sick.
That creepy smile is what I described as a smirk. That with the shifty eyes I summarized as body language.
What I do agree on is that this boy has some serious emotional issues. The footage of him as a young child seemed to me a stark contrast with the adult Burke. He seemed much more “normal” during the interviews as a child than now.
I think the boy snapped and cracked JB over the head with something. Maybe that metal baseball bat he was so fond of.
Perhaps the parents would have been better served by fessing up but feared Burke being institutionalized until adulthood. (though I have no knowledge of CO law)
I only followed this in passing when the incident initially occurred even though one of my friends mom was quite close friends with JB’s mom. It’s just the recent DP interview knocked me off the fence of “beats the heck out of me who dunnit and I really don’t care”.
But, you’re correct. The Big Judge knows who “done” it.
I thought it was Alex Hunter?

I think you might’ve clicked the wrong person to reply to there.
Your recollection is faulty.
The DA at the time of the murder and for some years after was a man, Alex Hunter. He is the prosecutor who called, and then ignored, the findings of his own grand jury.
Mary Lacy investigated the case starting in 2001 and later. She is the woman who wrote a preposterous apology to the Ramsey family, despite being told that the DNA evidence found on the child's panties was inconclusive and not exculpatory. A number of subsequent experts have come forward over the years, reiterating that the DNA found by Lacy's team did not clear the Ramsey family.
It seems like every election season this case gets trotted out with, "new evidence" that never actually materializes.
It seems especially formulated to get the "two minute hate" ginned up.
Let me know when they actually arrest somebody.
“I thought it was Alex Hunter?”

Professor Plum with a candlestick in the conservatory.
There was no evidence of sexual abuse.
It was.
“Good grief, can people please just let this case go?”

It’s a national mystery - like DB Cooper, it will always come up at least until there’s no one left alive who remembers it first hand.
No, at the time it was a man named Alex Hunter.
I was thinking the same thing. It’s amazing how quickly they can put them up.
You can “charge” anyone, they just can’t be “tried” in criminal or juvenile court.
