'Burke did it'
The Daily Mail ^ | 1/19/16 | Khaleda Rahman

JonBenet Ramsey was killed by her older brother Burke and it was covered up by her parents after a fight over a midnight snack of pineapples, investigators have claimed.

The six-year-old's mother Patsy Ramsey called 911 on December 26, 1996 to report that her six-year-old daughter had been kidnapped from her family's home in Boulder, Colorado.

JonBenet, a child beauty queen, was found beaten and strangled on the floor of the family's cellar several hours after the 911 call.

Have always believed it was him or his mother...now it appears obvious which.

I thought so from the very beginning. Have never changed my mind. It’s the only explanation that makes any sense at all of all the facts that have been revealed..............

I think it quite plausible and it should have been solved originally. Assuming the conclusion is true, the Ramsays should not have made up the story. That was a crime too wasn’t it? At 9 he probably would have been released to their custody.

This was a great show. I did not see Burke interviewed by Dr. Phil. Looks like it may have been an attempt at a preemptive strike. Someone saw it and told me he was creepy.

It states in the article that far to much weight was given to the “trace DNA” whicj supposedly exonerated Burke.

The investigators believe that that DNA evidence was inconclusive and erroneous.

Yep.
I guess the parents either didn't see it or just decided to ignore it. Jealousy is self destructive, fed by his parents focus on their daughter.

This would make sense, with the mother writing that bizarre ransom note afterwards.

All around SICK family dynamics.
I wonder what their faith life was like.

“I wonder what their faith life was like.”

Likely nonexistent.

This case helped open my eyes a little. It was probably the first time I realized that “important” people could no longer be prosecuted in the USA.

Her family was obviously guilty and obviously untouchable.

OJ was a similar case, but I figured he was untouchable because of the race angle. With JonBenet I realized that it’s just about the money and the connections. Prosecutors are perfectly happy to look the other way if they “have a good reason”.

Her mother was a former beauty queen. She’s dead and the father is remarried.

“Her mother was a former beauty queen”

I believe they call that “living vicariously”.

I don’t have a problem with little girls wanting to be in such pageants. It is a problem when they are pushed into by the likes of JonBenet’s stage mother trying to vicariously re-live her long gone pageant days.

Strongly suggest anyone who has not watched the Dr. Phil interview with Burke (and John) Ramsey do so. You might hear a few things you did not know.......Just my 2 cent.

What a creep for a brother. Yep, I think he did it. I watched both Sun-Mon night.

Didn’t know he had whacked poor little Jon-Benet in the face with a GOLF CLUB while playing in the yard one day. So whacking her in the head with the flashlight . . . and how he mentioned this is how they probably killed her with a Knife or Hammer . . . to the child therapist . . . and with no emotion whatsoever . . .

Yep Burke did it and the parents covered it up.

He Def odd but the whole life he has lived probably didn’t help. But I watched all three parts and one of the top detectives in the world laid out good case it was a intruder..
