LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - If Jimmy Fallon had any credibility left as a thinking comedian with a point-of-view, he lost the last shred of it Thursday night. Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump appeared on "The Tonight Show" for a few minutes to talk up his campaign, in the midst of one of the mendacious and evasive 24-hour periods of his political career to date.
Yesterday, Trump ended a slimy two-day news cycle by finally admitting that President Barack Obama was born in the United States -- but in the process, re-stoked the controversy, waffled on the topic, and manipulated media coverage to focus on the opening of his new hotel (just hours after he gloated that that same press pool was stranded on the tarmac and therefore couldn't come to his rally).
During this particularly maddening news cycle, Trump stopped by "The Tonight Show" to tape last night's episode. And Fallon -- either unaware or indifferent to the racist overtones of Trump's birtherism or the "reveal" of his medical records on "Dr. Oz" -- chose to fawn all over the candidate. In the episode's metaphorical money shot, Fallon asked Trump if he could muss his orange coiffure. In an acquiescence that felt rehearsed, Trump let him have at it. Trump's combover deflated in long, cotton-candy-like wisps. As Fallon stood to bid him farewell, the candidate nervously patted it back into place.

Liberals and especially MSM believe they can or should be able to script everything, including the opposition. A liberal cannot believe that anyone honestly disagrees with him. Liberals create fact and truth therefore anyone who disagrees with liberals is evil and simply promoting his own power. Liberals believe that mankind is God and that Liberals are God’s Brain.
“A comedian has credibility?”
The left sees them as their “news” source and as reliable attack dogs.
What the writer was saying was a thinly-veiled threat of Fallon losing his ratings because the libs in the audience should abandon his program because he didn’t fulfill his expected roll.

He never needed any, because THATS NOT HIS JOB. His job is to entertain, and he does that. His show isnt "Meet the Press". He gives us exactly what he is supposed to. His show is so lightweight, I am surprised he still wears a suit and tie on that show.
Liberals are OBSESSED with their politics, they can never let it go, and view EVERYTHING through those glasses. I am much happier since I left that reservation.

The opponent in this election isnt Hillary. It’s the MSM.
I laugh overtime I see her ‘America is in a green energy race to be the world’s superpower’ with her bright blue contacts and attempt at enthusiasm. She promises millions of jobs to making millions of solar panels.
But what happens to the workers once all the solar panels are made and the plants close?

Fallon is guilty of what Matt Lauer was: If they don’t skewer him, they haven’t drunk enough liberal kool-aid.
Agree, but I was actually putting Sonia Saraiya in the same category as this crybaby SJW getting her balloon touched.
His job is to also know his audience and Fallon's audience is overwhelmingly white and male. Trump voters.
