Libertarian National Committee Chair, Nicholas Sarwark, released this statement today:
In spite of polls showing that 54-76 percent of voters want Libertarian Gov. Gary Johnson included in debates, the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) announced that it will not include Johnson in the September 26 debate, nor will it include Gov. William Weld in the October 4 vice presidential debate.
They announced this today, late on a Friday afternoon, known in the spin world as the best time to release news that one wishes to bury.
In their attempt to bolster the chances of the two most hated presidential candidates in American history, the Commissions decision makes a mockery of their stated mission to "provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners.

OMG. If what this says is true, "not having Gov. Johnson on the stage" will make the debate between just Trump and Clinton "boring and unwatchable."
:)

We need three liberals on the stage to have a fair and balanced debate?
Got it.

I would want the Libertarian to participate, if he were libertarian.

54% to 76%. Do you have a margin of error on that?

Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are liberals.
We need a conservative for balance - Trump and Hillary are liberals, too.
Its a different world from Reagan’s day.

That's precisely why Johnson is being excluded. If he was truly a libertarian, the MSM would invite him just like they invited Perot, because they knew he was going to help Clinton.
Johnson has embraced statism and in turn will lead to the implosion of the Libertarian Party. The LP should have endorsed Trump and conservative Republicans in Congressional elections.

If the Libertarian Party” had nominated a sensible — saleable — non- leftist/ non- statist candidate this year—— they could have had a real chance.

Libertarians are liberals who used to be big on guns and maximum individual freedom.
That’s not fraud Johnson’s philosophy.

GMTA.
Johnson could always pull an Anderson, and respond to the questions on a separate network. PBS, iirc.
(That’s the 1980 Reagan - Carter [ - John Anderson] debate)

Left vs Right — these terms have become meaningless.
Liberal vs Conservative — these terms have become meaningless
It’s Patriots vs Globalists now. There is no other struggle, except perhaps Christians vs Evil.

Perhaps, but you have to support the one brought to the dance and that is Trump. It is too dangerous not to this round.
