Says he had an important announcement to make. Gathers press in the beautiful new Trump D.C. hotel. Spends 30 minutes having veterans and other military figures endorse him. Spends 30 seconds ending the birther issue. Walks off stage.
“Hillary Clinton started the birther issue. I ended it. President Barack Obama was born in the United States. Period. Thank you.”

Hawaii’s birth registration policy used to be purposely loose — if you were registered within a few days of delivery, it might not matter that you weren’t actually delivered there; you’d get credited with that anyhow. Yes we were given a forgery, yet it was apparently intended to be a faithful reproduction of what Hawaii would have issued anyhow from its records under the circumstances. Even Hawaii did not literally know.
Barack had no problem becoming a “world soul” however. That sold the USA out something fierce. The point of being natural born was to eliminate motive for acting like this. However the Constitution probably never envisioned the “globe trotter from birth” set which is at least equally bad.
CNN is going apopaleptic over this trying to make an issue. This is no game changer and no one really gives a shit.

So did I. I thought it was a false flag, diverting from the two real issues. One is if he is a Natural Born Citizen. The other is if he went to college as an Indonesian citizen, and if he did, when did he go back to being a US citizen.
Now the issue is undoing the damage Obama has done to the US. Historians are going to have to sort out how Obama got to be US President.
I never bought the assertion that questioning the 0bamanation’s birthplace was inherently racist. Anyone with his history of nefarious associates, concealment of his background, and unusual parentage would have raised similar questions regardless of his/her race. And the proved-phony birth certificate repeatedly cited as evidence of U.S. birth hasn’t convinced many, including, I’m sure, Donald Trump. He had to do the politically expedient thing for which I don’t fault him. I love the way he suckered in the media to cover a lengthy infomercial for his new hotel and a huge campaign ad.

CNN is still having apoplectic fits about Trump’s statement this morning. They are trying to minimize the Felon’s numerous weaknesses.
This is all Hillary has and is pinning her hopes on this to turn the tide rushing in against her.
