A man has reportedly been shot by police after hitting a police officer in the head with a meat cleaver near Macy's flagship store in New York.
Police had been called out to deal with a cleaver-wielding attacker in Manhattan's Koreatown; the man refused to drop the weapon and the officers gave chase when he fled, police said.
Cops say he then attacked one officer, causing a laceration to his head or face, and police opened fire - at which point another cop was struck in the back, authorities said.

Was his name Beaver?
Black and/or muslim.
These are not hard to know, especially if white male, they would be leading with it - because it hever happens, and also because the msm prays every night for it to be someone other than a black and /or muslim.
Must be another muslim "holy" day.
Over under odds that he yelled alah snackabar?...OR BLM type?
Riots to come, presumably
“Hassan CHOP!”
Looks like JCPenny rather than Macy in the background behind the police lines.
I guess the Mail is going for the slogan ‘Your leader in local NYC news’
Nah, JCP paid them to mention Macy’s as the site of the cleaver calamity, instead of JCP.
Mooselimb! Ya heard it here first!...
I would agree but the Koreatown thing throws an outside chance of a Korean being the culprit.
I’d still lay odds on a muslim.
In 2014, an ax-wielding man attacked NYPD cops in Jamaica, Queens, injuring one rookie officer critically and hurting another cop. Cops shot and killed the assailant, whom police later classified as a radicalized lone wolf terrorist."
He has more than a dozen prior arrests and was upset about a police boot that had been placed on his car, sources said.

A couple years ago the cops would have just shot him. Now they have to chase and get attacked with meat clevers because of all the BLM nonsense.
Sounds like he watched too much Itchy and Scratchy.
Hopefully the cop isn't named Theodore (or Ted) or Ward or Walt (Wally)
