Evidently, Donald Trump had a huge impact on Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto during his visit to Mexico City in August.
Mexican officialss are talking about building a great wall on its southern border with Central America.
The Daily Mail reported:
It seems Mexico agrees with Donald Trumps plans to build a wall to keep out illegal immigrants but only on its southern border with Central America.
Mexicans are calling for the border wall to keep out Guatemalans, Salvadorans and Hondurans fleeing violence in their own countries.
They complain hordes of immigrants pass through on their way to the United States -who are then simply deported back to Mexico rather than their home countries by the US.
Central American migrants are left stuck in border cities with Mexican officials unable to afford to send them back to their own countries, according to an article by one of the largest newspapers in the border state of Tamaulipas, El Mañana, titled: Yes to the Border Wall but in Mexicos South.
The real estate mogul sparked international outrage last year when he unveiled his idea for a giant wall on the US border with Mexico which he claimed Mexico would pay for.
But while Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto has mocked Trumps plans, many Mexicans praised the concept of a border wall.
Trumps idea of a border wall is a good one but it should be on the southern border with Central America in order to stop the flow of Central Americans from entering both countries, the El Mañana board wrote in July.
RAAAAACISTS!! ==> Mexico wants to build a border wall with Central America to keep out illegal immigrants
Maybe Trump can share his blueprints. :>)
Does the US have to pay for it? LOL!
Make Mexico Great Again!
Legal Hispanics will vote Trump, they hate illegals, they take their jobs and depress wages.
And Guatemala is going to pay for it. (They may not know it yet.)
I read somewhere that we are paying for parts of it. Ironic, huh?
Imitation is the best form of flattery.
That actually will help us too. Build it Mexico. Maybe this is what Trump meant buy getting Mexico pay for the wall.
Not that there isn't something still to be said for "bootlicking, fawning, suckuppance..."
:>)
Actually yes we are. That obama dude is so swell.....

No need to worry about tunnels , they will have wide open gaps for those who know the operators accepting bribes .
Things that make you shake your head.
Nah, Guatemala and Belize will.
Well, since a lot of them are coming from Central America, that actually might indirectly help.
Of course, having both borders secure would be best.
As for the article I call BS on this part,
"who are then simply deported back to Mexico rather than their home countries by the US."
Nonsense, Mexico never accepts any OTMs "other than Mexicans" returning from the US. As the Border Patrol drops them off at the border there is always Mexican immigration officials there screening them. Anyone who is not a Mexican citizen is refused entry. The Border Patrol calls them kickbacks.
What would anyone expect? It’s Mexico, one of the most corrupt countries on the planet with millions of some of the most disrespectful people on the planet who totally disregard all rules and laws of other countries.
Defense contractor Raytheon was paid by Saudi Arabia to build walls between it and Iraq and around Yemen. Couple hundred million dollars for multiple lines of ditches, barbed wire fences and barricades. Between the two fences, it was about as long as the Mexican border fence we need. And no massive masonry required.
To top it off, Raytheon was tasked to create a visa entry/exit system that quickly reported when someone overstayed a visa and notify authorities - for the UK, a decade ago.
Are they going to get Guatemala to pay for it?
