Mrs. smoothsailing contacted me today to relate that longtime FReeper smoothsailing passed away yesterday, 9-13-16 of pancreatic cancer.
Smoothsailing will be missed here at FR, he was a staunch conservative, a true patriot and a gentleman.
He was active in the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Pennsylvania. On his homepage he said "I'M A DAMN PROUD VIETNAM VETERAN" and he surely was.
Rest In Peace, my FRiend. One day we'll meet on the other side.
Lord Jesus, rest the soul of Thy servant Rusty with the saints.
In the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.

Whenever we “spoke”, his yacht was included.
I’ve been pinging him off and on for a while wondering. This has hit me like a Ton of bricks. There is a lot I’d like to say but words fail me right now.
Yes, I remember when he used it in many of his posts and thought I had it in my pic files but didn’t.
