Based on his leaked emails, it seems a safe assumption that Colin Powell will not endorse or vote for Hillary Clinton. After Democratic megadonor Jeffrey Leeds emailed Powell on July 24, 2014, to tell him he’d gotten Rudy Giuliani to admit that President Obama is a “decent man” and that Hillary Clinton is “not stoppable” for the 2016 election, Powell confessed: “I would rather not have to vote for her, although she is a friend I respect.” He noted that she is a 70-year-old person with “long track record,” but is hampered by being “greedy, not transformational, with a husband still dicking bimbos at home (according to the [New York Post]).”

Not a "safe assumption" at all that Powell won't endorse and vote for the beast!! He did not say he could never for for her, he said (in 2014) he would "rather not have to vote for her".... although this remark is somewhat cryptic, it seems more likely that he is implying that he will vote for any Democrat in 2016, whoever is nominated, but he prefers that it not be Hillary. Think about it, why on earth would he "have to" vote for her, unless he is unwilling to contemplate voting for the Republican nominee??

I wish they would stop calling Colin Powell a Republican. He never was a Republican-even under the Bush Administration. With that in mind, there are a slew of politicians that should have the title of “Republican” revoked.

Anyway, now that he is on record with scathing remarks against Trump, calling him a “disgrace to the nation” etc., it still seems much more likely to me that Powell will be pulling for Hillary. Whether he will publicly endorse her is a different question, but Powell’s email chummy remarks with a top megabucks Democrap donor, plus Powell’s past endorsements of Obama, suggest to me that Powell has gone totally to the dark side for a long time, is a Democrat in mind and spirit, and will vote for virtually anyone on the Democrat ticket.

Powell most certainly won’t endorse or vote for Trump, judging from the kinds of attacks he has made against Trump.
