Just in time for the 2016 election, San Francisco PBS affiliate KQED is offering a Common Core-ready lesson plan designed for public school teachers who want to indoctrinate students with a love for open borders and a deep suspicion of anyone who favors the immigration restrictions proposed by Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
The lesson plan which comes complete with safe space suggestions is offered by way of a section of the taxpayer-funded television stations website called The Lowdown (connecting newsroom to classroom). The lesson, released this week, centers around a graphic comic entitled Fear of Foreigners: A History of Nativism in America. (Click on the images for a fuller view.)

The comments are gold!
Conservatives need to interject themselves much more into the public conversation.
“The left has been trying to brainwash the youth forever. They want these kids to welcome their own demise. Democrats want to be praised for bringing in the refugees who will destroy the futures of these children. “
They have been succeeding! Since the end of WWII, when schools started hailing the government for the massive industrial buildup that actually won the war (organized and affected by the likes of Bill Knudsen, Henry Kaiser, et.al.) and not the mighty industrialists and engineers actually responsible.
They may have succeeded. The 47% is heavy, the youth is less than aware, and the LIV live.

Been there and commented.
C’mon, freepers! Go there and give ‘em an earful.
“Its time to stop letting the left get away with everything.”
Tell it to ZMcConnell & Ryan, who always give Obama 100% funding on anything he wants.
actually PBS is an independently operated non-profit
501(c)(3) organization ..

You can contact the above two people but it won’t do any good. Thi stops when the GOP refuses to fund PBS/NPR.
Pull the plug on PBS funding-
Wow! That’s sick! PBS has no business producing lesson plans that take a political point of view!!!! AND! A lesson plan centering around graphic comics? The dumbing down continues!

How can they do this with public money?
“...I never hear you say THANK YOU TAXPAYERS!”
Because tax payers, to the traitors, are merely blood bags to be fed off of...its their lot in life. To feed the enlightened.
“But Big Bird has become an untouchable icon and leftists will shame anyone who dares to criticize PBS so legislators let the farce continue.”
Just have cable stations bid on Sesame Street. Then shut down PBS. I would love to see Trump give Sesame Street to Fox.
How do you outbid the competition if it has the deepest pockets partner in the world—the US government.
“How do you outbid the competition if it has the deepest pockets partner in the worldthe US government.”
If Trump wins and PBS goes bye bye, they can easily say they want to keep Sesame Street on the air so whoever wants it can bid on it. That’s called free enterprise.

“To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.” - Thomas Jefferson
I don’t think he has committed to sending PBS to the trash heap. While it is a good idea since it is largely superfluous now with all the cable offerings, it is a ‘third rail’ of politics and he doesn’t need to give the Left a new issue.
Remember that lots of affluent, white collar, educated soccer moms he needs on board still buy into the PBS nonsense..

Anyone have a good email for Drudge?
