North Korea is ready to conduct another nuclear test at any time, South Korea's defence ministry has claimed - just days after Pyongyang sparked worldwide condemnation with its fifth and most powerful test.
Officials in Seoul say South Korea's military has been placed on full combat readiness to respond to 'further nuclear tests, ballistic missile launches or land provocation' by the North.
It comes as it emerged that the South is planning to 'annoy' its neighbour by blasting loud K-pop girl band music over the border.
The army wants to set up a huge block of speakers and a giant screen at the frontier and play the music along with South Korean and international news bulletins in a bid to infuriate Pyongyang, the Korea Times newspaper reports.

This is only for show ,Obama already finished a secret deal
Some of that stuff reminds me of Alanis Morissette’s first two albums.
Anyway, if K-pop will drive the Norks nuts, I say double down and pile on J-pop as well.
If I was forced to listen to that K Pop I’d be pretty annoyed too.
Hey, they have a contract to fulfill. After all, Iran has all that cash to spend ...
Would be a good time to drop a real nuke on the site and claim it was their own nuke which caused the damage.
My guess is that the Norks may have finally built an implosion-style fission weapon that could be produced in fairly large numbers, depending on how much plutonium 239/241 they can produce per year.
We’re apparently about to do a bomber flyby over the NorKs as well.
“...a nuclear deterrent. Because that always calms things right down...”
You must admit, those girls are cute as all get-out.
While the little princesses are cute as all get out, that stuff is HORRIBLE! I lasted 15 seconds into the second one. I need some Lemmy, Kate Davis, and Bach, in that order, to clear my head after that noise pollution.
LMAO.
The south needs to strike first with heavy metal and rap playing simultaneously. Their K-pop girls will be drowned out, LOL.
Never mind, I thought the north was going to do that to the south. Bad reading comprehension this morning, LOL. I still say they should play heavy metal & rap at the same time.
The enemy islamist øbama thoroughly and heartily approves.
Here you go (conservative rap metal from Stuck Mojo):
Anti-Islamic: For the Cause of Allah (I think the narrator is Walid Shoebat.)
Anti-Clinton: Crooked Figurehead (lyrics in description)
Any doubt as to where this tactic was conceived from? Panama, Noreiga 1989. The song "I Fought The Law" by The Clash was played repeatedly along with "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses; another song in the line-up was "Too Old To Rock 'n' Roll: Too Young to Die" by Jethro Tull.
Hot!
My fave is second from left..!
UWAAAAA..!
Which one? 2ne1 (Top) or SNSD (Bottom)?
