NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Members of the Maury High School football team took a knee during the national anthem Friday night.
A WAVY viewer snapped a photo of the team before their football game against Grassfield.

Some stood, as they should. Football is about the team, not the individual. Not good for team unity. Or our country.
Cancel the games. These punks are imitating thugs.

The school should have expressed its own freedom and tuned off the lights and sent everyone home with a forfeit.

These punks need to have a coach who will tell them that if they don’t stand for the National Anthem, then they are going to sit on the bench for the game.
The same goes for NFL coaches.
When you are in uniform, you are no longer an individual. You represent your team. So if any NFL team tolerates this kind of disrespect of our country, then you can assume that the feeling goes all the way up to the owner and the management.
We must boycott any team that puts up with this crap.
Our Military personnel go through Hell every day in Hell holes around the world fighting and dying under that flag.
The least we can do is give up our favorite sports or our favorite teams when they show such contempt for the flag.

Not quite. America is committing suicide....like basketball did. No country can survive when it listens to the infantile tantrums of a group of people that predominantly shuns responsibility, work, discipline, and the nation itself. Somehow, this parasitic minority has become a role model.

Remember,....Nearly every teacher in this nation was trained by godless Marxists in Marxist run colleges and universities. This is true for the government's K-12 schools as well as private schools.
Unless conservatives ***seriously** work to shut down the government's socialist entitlement schools and find private alternatives ( preferably non-Prussian model) our nation's experiment in self rule is doomed.
