All is well here. We had another little rain last night and it’s supposed to only be in the 70s today. Sounds good to me!

A car remains in a rain swollen arroyo due to Tuesday’s storm in Hereford. Two people and a dog were rescued from the vehicle, located on South Burro Drive, by the Fry Fire District and the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office.

I think this cooling weather may have something to do with it.

We did enjoy our time out at Waurika Lake yesterday. No turtles but Bo did some sniffing around.

I know that I have chosen this song before. However, it is such a good rhythm and the singer is a very playful lady in the way that she sings the song that I simply couldn't resist selecting it again.

FRED WARING: “LET’S HAVE ANOTHER CUP OF COFFEE”

In 1932, Irving collaborated with Moss Hart for a Broadway musical, “Face the Music,” that was a significant hit. It satirized show business and the corruption in the NYPD that had chased Mayor Jimmy Walker out of City Hall a year earlier. The satire wasn’t as sharp as Gershwin’s “Of Thee I Sing,” but it still had a lot of laughs. This song from the show would have a long life, including use in a Nescafe TV commercial in the Sixties.

Fred Waring also had a long life in the business, to include running refresher courses for music teachers in the Fifties.

To all friends & followers be advised, I will not be on line tomorrow, it is one of my “trigger” days and the anger and anxiety are already welling up inside me. some of the reason/s are that I could not deploy as a Marine any where & my head injuries have only made it worse. So as a result I have to be careful of my triggers, so I will not harm anyone. So I’ll probably go fishing instead with my son Lance. So GOD Bless everyone esp those who wear a uniform that serves & protects us as a Country, state/s cities & everywhere else.
